One tip : You can have the bronto himself hold all the craving items. As soon as she is impregnated, throw out a thyla and transfer all the stuff into the thyla. No need to carry a box around for it !

The ending stats for the Rhynio are 20% per feeding. So since you got 3 feedings, you got 60% of it's potential final level. Just to test it I spawned in a 400 bronto with a 145 rhinyo impreg, and did all 5 feedings and it came out at level 400ish. It's all about the feedings. Also mutate the brontos for the stats you want, because you COULD get the bronto's mutated stats. Mine got the mutated hp,stam,melee from the 400 bronto.

The time between cravings is based on hatch speed, so the super crazy insane breeding rates on the server are causing a problem lol. If you (or anyone else on the server) actually finds a high level female, I would *highly* recommend trapping it because they're pretty rare and good luck finding it again after it impregnates one creature and runs off. If you mess up the cravings or roll a baby with bad stats, you'll definitely want to be able to try again. As you found out, using a lower level female and/or not hitting all the cravings really hurts the stats of the baby. Unfortunately, you have to build an obnoxiously large trap because the rhynio needs full range of motion for the impregnation attack, otherwise it won't work.

The level of the Rhyniognatha indicates its egg quality, with 150 being the ideal with 100% egg quality. Lower levels will subsequently decrease the egg quality (level 100 Rhynio will give 75% egg quality and will scale the stats down to 75% stats---meaning if you had 100 points into your bronto's health, the baby will end up with 75 points in health ONLY IF you complete all of the cravings.) However, you also need a creature with atleast 900+ drag weight (giga, carcha, and bronto) in order to maintain 100% egg quality; anything less will cause the stats to decrease proportionately again. Using a Yuty (500 Drag weight will cause the stats to be roughly cut in half AGAIN, meaning a level 100 Rhynio impregnating a 100 base health Yuty will cap a baby with only 25 points in health with all cravings satisfied). Then to get all of the best stats you need to satisfy all of the cravings (also only males drop pheromones and only females can impregnate). I'm still not a 100% sure if this is completely accurate but after testing and watching some other videos this is roughly what I've come up with.

TL:DR version - need to meet all 5 cravings and have a max level rhynio to make sure you have all the good stats, along with having either a giga, carch, bronto or the giant turtle from Genesis as the host for the baby. Gallis can only be carried by a rhynio. That list you were reading is the creatures that can only be carried by a rhynio. A wyvern can carry a bary, as can a quetz. A bary has a higher drag weight than a thyla, even though it looks slimmer

I put all the possible craving supplies in my bird because you won’t have enough time to gather them after impregnating the Bronto. Besides you may have to chase the bug as it attacks everything around it like a Charcar 😅 You need to be mobile and prepared. Only male Rhinio drop the pheromones. I only attack with the Bronto until it’s at 10% and use the super spyglass mod to see its health from a distance.

Pro tip: you can knock the Rhynio out and lower it's health that way, it'll take a little while for it to wake up but as soon as it does it'll impregnate your Dino, also always have everything it might need for cravings on you in your inventory because of boosted breeding rates 😊

I think the reason it came out so low level is because your incubation rates were way too high... It needs to fullfill 5 cravings in order to get it's max level ( When combined with mother stats and host stats ) Basically every craving fullfilled increases the stats by 20 percent

lol i went through the same issue, however, i found that the diplo was the most efficient dino 4 the task. however I also found out that you cant ride the dino after the bug takes host in the dino lol.... ended up dying for it.... anyway, i got my rhynio... unfortunately the female rhynio matters alot to make the level of the baby as well...... so, it was a low level baby. its decent now as it's leveled up but def not as strong..... lol a few hiccups.

Personally, I am not a fan of the rhinio. I have mine on passive but they keep attacking things my turrets shoot. I am always putting them back in their parking spots.
