regarding league IP I read years ago that they are fine with people selling their custom made merch if it is not like industrial scale quantities. So self made fan stuff should be fine. Otherwise they would also have to mess with artists who do fan arts. And they leave them alone too. In the grand scheme it is a net positive over suing people for tiny benefits and getting backlash.
