I agree with the other comment. Also, picking a specific champion to improve with and watching guide/gameplay videos on that champ(s) will help a lot. For instance I started with annie mid lane, and then transitioned to jax top, then jarvan jungle, etc.

100% agreed with hugo here. If you have thick skin then keep them unmute because sometimes they can ping something useful like 'I'll go there' or 'push the wave' or 'attack this'. I tend to keep it on and ignore the toxic ones, I don't care about them anyways. But if you're uncomfortable with the toxicity, mute all is your best friend. You played solo anyway so don't bother caring the others. Or if you find good people who's actually helping or positive, or chill ones, you can always select to mute only the toxic ones from the TAB menu

It is not easy being a beginner and I wish you luck. Aram could be good just for picking up champs, and trying to get the jist of what they can do. the rounds are usually short/don't mean much. Don't hesitate on taking breaks, I dropped the game for like 5 months before trying it again, and it stuck

Playing LoL is the worst mistake you could've ever made to begin with, but now that you're here, the best thing you can do in game is deactivating the chat, that way you never get to see what the others say to you, the second best thing is to mute people when they start pinging you, the third and last thing you can do is uninstall League. . . jokes aside, report those who spams pings on you, and try to play by yourself and you should be fine

If you are doing cool bot duo consider a taric and Lee sin. It's painful to go against. The Lee sin q then the taric activates the stun and Lee goes in..
