Hey kaz! Maybe try using staggered support beams for the hole in the tower. Or incrementally shorter ones along the sides. Pillars stacked and staggered too if you need to scale up the ‘support’ look.

It's super cool to see how people adapt to the new updates. I thought for sure patching the grappler refresh would limit mobility a ton because the launch pad didn't seem to launch very far, but I shouldn't have doubted LEGO Fortnite builders! The new tower method is such a fantastic idea!

Tip: Use the Wood pole instead of the walls for the launch pads 6 high is the perfect height, 7 is okay but little tricky.

All you have to do is have a village on the shore, biome or in the desert biome, and have your people farm blast powder and copper bars for you, and then you, you have unlimited grapplers again

Pro tip… campfires can be placed in the water and give you really cool ambient lighting in water features. I built a village on a lake just to give it a swimming pool😂. Looks awesome

Awesome as always. I built my first launch tower earlier today. It not as high as yours, but I can't get a hang of the glider/pick ax method, so I have to watch my stamina. Anyway, I wanted to ask you how many villagers you actually have. I have 3 level 10 villages 2 with 5 villagers. One with 4. There's another village with only 1 villager that's just getting started. When I try to add another villager, it says 15 is the limit. It seems like you have more than that with your many, many villages. Unless you're just moving them around with you? Anyway, thanks for sharing.

If I remember right, he's run into the issue of the 15 villager limit a couple times! He's moved some of his villagers with him to other villages and set others free so he can get the more rare villagers. I hope fortnite increases the limit, because with such vast lego worlds it sucks to not be able to have more full villages!

I would be all for the launch pads if there was a way to lower the exhaustion time. I will probably never use the pickaxe method as I am on console and I feel like I wouldn't get much value without using the pickaxe method. 😂 Hopefully we will get foods that do something about exhaustion as I don't want to mess with my settings.

from playing for a while, ive figured out the devs want travel to be slow to give the world time to load in. Speed=Lag which is why i think they havent been able to fix the vehicles yet. Hopefully they figure out a way to have the world load in more seamlessly, even if they nee it to be low poly a little longer

@kaz theres a Infinity soil glitch that i found if you place a soil bed and then plant a plant and wait for it to grow it has to be a bush plant like a slap burry plant place stair next to the plant bed and build a floor over it and destroy the floor over the plant bed and the plant should stay there and you cant get the soil😊

I have a tip for launch pad towers. Ive made several. Instead of making it look like an awkward staircase, make a straight tower with an entrance on the bottom. Then, as you are building from the interior you can place jump pads in alternate corners and spiral around the inside. once done, just leave a hole in the top to pop out of and build a small deck at the top for angled pads. the jump pads can stick to the walls on the inside without needing floors
