Oboro is a great champ. I built her to solo Sand Devil months ago and found her to be great everywhere. People starting out now with a free Oboro are very lucky.

I have a 6 star soul for Oboro and recently pulled Toshiro the Bloody (no soul) as my second mythical after Lady Mikage... which one would you rather use together with her? Haven't build or booked any of them so far, waiting for CvC and more mythical books... not sure if Toshiro is worth the books right now.

1000% Toshiro! He can be your decrease def champ or just go all in on damage. He’s probably top 5 damage dealers in hydra. He was doing way more damage than my Acrizia.

My Lady M was my first mythical pull, not the one you can fuse... so maybe I will just do both when I get the last epic I am missing, sadly Ilysinya wasn't part of the hero's path event and I didn't even try to win a tournament. Don't know how Plarium thought that was a good idea.

I just barely pulled Oboro a few days ago and am gonna start booking her today now that I FINALLY got Uugo booked up. But I was wondering, is she still really good for Hydra even if you don't use the Mythic Fusion champ?

Does the 9 Set Slayer realy work on her a1? I could get her in 9 piece slayer just waiting for the 6 star soul already got her to 5 star. Nice first time i can actualy reach the stats you show on a champion :D. Mine will have 7k attack and 337% crit dmg.

It does for sure. during the run when Mikage a1 went off you could see repeating red numbers underneath the yellow crits. Hope your building goes well!!

Is there a video on Varl? I'm noticing people are using him more and more for Hydra, and I'm kind of curious why?

He's one of the best non mythical damage dealers for hydra. If not the best. The reason he does so much damage is because of his passive that makes his ATK value grow during the fight. And on top of that he is also bringing weaken and atk down. Mine can hit 10M with A2 and 5M with A3 on NM Hydra. A1 is also very good.. and he's not empowered and low blessings. A top Varl build could do close to 1B on NM by himself.

I've been tracking the highest damage numbers per champ in Nightmare and Oboro in a Cursed Set seems pretty good too.. 640M (ish)

I wasn't able to get slayer accessories for shadowkin, so I can't build mine like that. I have the artifacts, but problem is accessories. My oboro has crushing rend 5 stars. I could almost do it too.

Only thing to mention is mikage won't target a decapitated head with ally attack. I find clicking heads with my oboro team is better as you can guarantee aoes on oboro when new heads come up

Hmm - I can't do your exact team, but I've got 8 pieces of slayer gear. C'mon raid, Oboro needs a pair of boots! I do have the 6 star blessing and just switched to crushing rend. Need to match masteries next.

Looking through his stat screens show 50-60% of his resistance and acc coming from 6* souls and +4 empowerments. They also nerfed the great hall years back, so nobody but the earliest players have that maxed. Not as a big of a contributer. But yeah, tried this team with similar gear without the whale edge and it just wiped before it started.

It should be said, that it is pretty much a "hard requirement" for Oboro to have a "good Account" stacked with Gear and Champs! She is nowhere near as useful on Accounts that cannot give her the artifacts she needs or accompany her with a more than decent Team! I have Oboro but I dont have the Artifacts or Team so she doesnt do much for me!

Well that is something that can be said for all of the champs really. Raid is a gear game as well 50% Gear-50% Champs. Hopefully she will become more useful for you later on.

@@SkratchPlays you are absolutely right of course but there are champs that can even work with "ok gear" and even with starter Champs! Think of a Champ like Krisk or Duchess! sure, those champs will profit from godly gear and great team comps as much as others but they will still be VERY useful even without! I dont mean that in any negative way by the way! quite the opposite! I think its good that the game has such a variety of Champs, that even super end game Accounts can still discover some use for Champs that "didnt performed that well" in earlier accounts! Oboro is a Champion that benefits late Accounts more than early Accounts and there is nothing wrong with that! Its just that if a player doesnt know that, he might get frustrated trying to make her perform where she just cannot!

@@SkratchPlays I did use them as examples because everyone knows them by now but this rule doesnt just apply to "godly" Legos. There are Epics and even Rares that can be useful with mediocre gear or that require high end gear! Two rare examples! Apothecary is easier to make use of for an early account with mediocre Gear than Coldheart! Doesnt mean she cant be used or is not useful, it just means that she will be much farther away from her true potential with med gear than Apothecary will be.

Scratch, love you, but this video is useless for anyone except for complete whales. The only reason it works is the 6 star soul, maxed great hall, and empowerments you have on every champ. Running those champs without those bonuses cuts their damage output nearly 10x, and most stats become too low to survive. I tried this same team, matching the artifact stats as close as possible. Minus the content creator level empowerments, blessings, and great hall. Auto on normal hydra wiped at 4M damage....

Hi man. Auto will suck for most teams as the champs do not put the skills at the right time which will cause them to die at 4 mil dmg lol. Try to manual and apply the debuffs at the right moment and stuff and you will see a massive improvement

Thanks for the suggestion. I'm actively working on filling in the blank columns on the stat sheet to catch up. I haven't been farming oils or soulstones. Nor have I touched live arena once. I think the takeaway is that stuff adds up big. I think moreso than timing, the damage output gains from your +4 and 6* keeps the hydra heads down. Teams without maxed champs will see the heads taking turns much more often. And they won't have the extra resist and stats to survive. Subscribing, btw. I think I've been watching for years and never clicked the button of appreciation.
