I made an appointment with Brent Wigand on Friday, yesterday, saw his amazing collection, learned some things and came home with three plants. They are all in bud so I'm anticipating great flowers in a few days if we get some sun, it's June Gloom here now.

En mi país Argentina donde es originaria se llama cactus antorcha ( Echinopsis Huascha). La mayoría de las Echinopsis q son cactus q los llaman cactus gigantes son originarios de Argentina, Bolivia, Paraguay y Chile donde sus flores son grandes como una mano adulta sus flores son muy perfumadas aunque duran poco tiempo. También son bastante invasivas guarda con eso. En pocos años invadieron todo mi jardín y se están estendiendo a los jardines de quienes me las compran 😅

Visita sudamerica y vas a ver que todos las flores de los cactus son grandes como una cara. Los cactus su mayoria miden entre 1 metro y 6metros dan muchisimas flores como las que viste en este video. Tengo cactus Echinopsis Candicans como 40 y sus flores son gigantes blancas y perfumadas

I'm in vegas too, and I have my cactus in a west facing side of my house but I think it doesn't get too much sun should I move it?

There is always enough sun in Vegas anywhere. Lol! Especially during summer. But I find the west side to get too hot when the sun hits that side in the afternoon. I prefer to put them on the side that faces the sunrise. They get plenty sun while our temperature is still cooler during the day.
