Great Big Story

Great Big Story

5 жыл бұрын

In an unassuming building in Galliano, Louisiana, Alzina Toups makes some of the best food you’ll ever eat. But while her Jambalaya, fried shrimp and other garlic-laden Cajun staples are sure to bless your tongue and break your heart, they aren’t so easy to come by. Alzina doesn’t take walk-ins, and reservations-which book up a year in advance-can only be made by reaching her by landline.

@@moviesims183 We all serve a God. Ask where your time, energy, mind, body, and soul go to, who or what do you serve and why. Can what you experience and what you see be claimed as real? Do I exist? Do you only see what is real or do you question the reality you see itself. I see complex biological life and complex chemical compositions in a complex space, along with universal truths. To me this is proof enough, I see a watch...was the watch created? I see a rock...was the rock created? Complex reality cant be explained without a creator. Cause and effect, the answer to how but not why. Trust in God and devotion to his ways is a path to peace and understanding. As for what to trust and what to understand, you'll hear it if you listen, its etched into your heart. The problem is not listening, seeking, or understanding.

@@champ8605 Lol, what kind of people do you choose to be your friends out of the millions of people on this earth. Some Gods ask for you to sacrifice human life, to kill if you dont worship, to conquer lands in his name. Will you serve that God? Do you want me to hold your hand and choose your religion? Some religions ask that you treat others the way you like to be treated, love thy neighbor, honor your parents? Does that sound like something you should do. Religion has a set of rules and beliefs, study both and discover answers to why. The teachings of God will lead you to discover who is God. Then you serve as a creation of God.

Lovely lady, lovely story. Also, it's one of my dreams. A kitchen where mom cooks a meal of her choosing that day, no menu, and you come in and sit down and eat what she serves you. If anyone is interested in helping make this dream come true, you know where to reach me. 😊 Thanks, momma, for being so wonderful and sharing your love and food with others. 😊
