Interesting that you are a doctor from Poland. We will never see a response like yours from a doctor in the US, UK, Australia, Canada or any other Western country. They're way too busy trying to tell us not to take supplements because they increase the cost of our urine.

For 3 decades I had incredible lower back pain and I went to the doctor, pt, chiropractor, and acupuncture with zero help; only got hooked on pain killers for a few years. I started taking 50k IU of D3 a week for a month and all the pain was gone. Not a single doctor ever mentioned vitamin D could be an issue. I'm talking 200 visits over 30ish years and d was never mentioned. The worst part is the doctor thought I was drug seeking and I was just in unreasonable pain. Thanks Dr Berg!

What you said about Statins, Doc. I was on them ( hereditary high LDL ), lowish dose but they wanted me to take more. At the same time they tell me I'm pre-diabetic! I thought I was supposed to get blood sugar down, but statins do the opposite. I stopped taking them without consulting, but when I told my GP she checked. Seems that without them my risk of some vascular issue was 8%. With them it was 5%. Well, 3% seems like a low number to me. No more statins here. I'm a recovering high function alcoholic. Dry for two years. 71 this week, no jab. I found this channel when I was seeking info on trying to save my liver. Have lost over 20kg ( about 45 pounds to you lot ) which alone has changed my life, got rid of my chronic knee pain. Thanks Eric.

After binge watching Dr. Berg's videos I now take vit D3, K2, Magnesium, B1 (Benfotiamine), B3 (Niacinamide), B12 and Folate daily. And Dr. Berg's electrolytes ocassionally. My brain is SO clear now, I suffered from chronic severe dark cloud- like brain fog for 30 YEARS. I feel like I'm on cloud 9 every day now and its just because my mind is clear. All THANKS to Dr. Eric Berg.🎉 And I havent even started the keto diet (yet). Slowly swapping keto meals for normal meals and observing the difference in energy levels. Carbs make me drowsy/fall asleep/hungrier, MEAT keeps me on an even keel and full for half the day. But the vitamins and minerals are helping me for sure. Vitamin D saved me a few months ago from a semi flu-like debilitating illness. And I know that keto is gonna help me lose the weight also. I put my faith in this man!

Isn't that why we have X-rays and ultrasound sounds and such? My blood would come out in big clots! I refused and thanks to Google, found out that I show symptoms of Magnesium deficiency. It was then when I found out a link between D3-K2-Magnesium. The thing is, Magnesium is also D3's co-factor and important as much as K2. The best Mg to replenish your body are both Citrate and Glycinate versions. Take care and thank you for your hard work!

Back in 2020, I was taking 15,000 units of vit d3/day. I had a lot of issues that started before my wellness exam. Dr did advise a vit d test due to fatigue and the results showed too much at a "toxic" level. Dr said to decrease it. I asked what are symptoms of too much vit d and he said there isn't research on high levels only low levels. So, how are lab resluts able to analyze the high spectrum if no research or conclusive evidence?

So I started taking 5kiu and I've felt just fine with that. Everyone will have their own reasons for adjusting D3 and other forms. But I advise not to overdo it. Just adjust the amount to the amount you need. You won't need a doctor to tell you anything if you just adjust your own dosage to your personal well-being! Best to all!

As a fellow health KZbinr, I appreciate the insights shared in your video. It's crucial to address the misconceptions surrounding vitamin D, especially given its vital role in our health. I’d like to add that while vitamin D is indeed essential for numerous bodily functions, including immune response and bone health, it's important to consider individual variability in vitamin D metabolism. Factors such as genetics, age, body weight, and existing health conditions can significantly influence how our bodies process and utilize vitamin D. Additionally, I encourage viewers to consult with healthcare professionals before making any significant changes to their vitamin D intake, especially if they are considering high doses for therapeutic purposes. Regular blood tests can help monitor levels and ensure safety. Thank you for shedding light on this important topic! Your video is a valuable resource for anyone looking to navigate the complexities of vitamin D supplementation. Keep up the great work!

As an African American, I take a daily dose of 40,000 IU of vitamin D3 along with 400 mg of K2. This is essential because individuals of color often have lower levels of vitamin D due to factors like increased melanin in the skin, which reduces vitamin D synthesis from sunlight. Supplementing with vitamin D is crucial for maintaining overall health, supporting immune function, and preventing deficiencies that can lead to various health issues.

I was taking 6000 IUs of Vitamin D3 every day (5,000 from a separate pill and 1,000 in my multi-vitamin). In March as part of my yearly physical they tested for Vit. D and recorded 85 ng/ml which they considered "high." According to the doctors in my neck of the woods anything over 80 ng/ml is "high." Being a dedicated Dr. Berg viewer, I realized that they were full of it and since that test I have added another 5,000 IUs to my daily dose. We'll see how my tests go this coming March 2025.

Intact vitamin-D (non-converted to prohormone 25(oh)D=24hour half life, Prohormone 25(oh)D (what they measure in your blood) =3week half-life active hormone 1-25 (oh) D=2hour half life. Intact vitamin D can be taken through the entire activation process 25(oh)D (prohormone) in many tissues throughout the body (immune system/cells, not just the liver. It is actually easier for the intact vitamin-D to get into the immune cells because of how tightly 25(oh)D is bound to the vitamin-D binding protein. If your25(oh) D(prohormone) levels are low, the bodies first priority (skeletal system) is to get them up to (40ng to 60ng) and will rapidly start using most of the intact vitamin-D to do this. Which leaves little intact vitamin-D to fully support the immune system. This is why it is important to have both optimal 25(oh)D/prohormone levels(60ng - 100ng), and also to have good daily circulating intact vitamin-D levels, this is also probably why doing the vitamin-D hammer is effective when you are sick, you are getting lots of intact vitamin - D into your system/cells. This is also the reason why you want to take it daily and not weekly or monthly because intact vitamin - D only has a 24 hour half life. Also magnesium is a huge co-factor for vitamin-D, it is needed to take vitamin - D through the activation process. So green veggies or supplements. 1) maintain 25(oh)D levels above 60ng/ml, safe range 60ng/ml to 100ng/ml. 2)take daily to have circulating intact vitamin-D. 3) daily magnesium in your diet, green veggies or supplements. 4) vitamin - D hammer when sick 30,000iu a day for few days (3to5). 5) vitamin-D is not toxic, safe up to 200 ng/ml levels. 6) enjoy being healthier, and the great reduction in autoimmune diseases, inflammatory diseases and cancers. My dr told me my vit d levels were too high-toxicity danger and took me off it completely! At the time I was taking 10k IU daily since I have fibromyalgia, chronic pain. He looked shocked and told me that’s a dangerous amount I stopped going to him and am trying to find another primary. I started taking D3 recently but was scared to take too much so I’m only taking 1-2k daily. I’ve Never felt worse and want to take the higher dose again. Thanks for this helpful video.

Many years ago, my doctor did bloodwork showing my Vit D was low normal. End of discussion, as she dismissed it. Years later, and battle with lyme disease...I realized how important Vit D is on my own. If she was more educated on Vit D, I may not have gone through so much hell.

Similar happened to me, they did not confirm the infection, and so treat me for it, but some time later they were pleased to confirm by a recent blood test that I no longer had it! Also my private blood test for D3 showing I was low, was dismissed by my NHS GP.

My mom was suffering greatly. We thought it was her thyroid. Her first blood work came out with her thyroid out of wack. The second test showed she was back to normal. Her Doctor decided to test for Vitamin D deficiency. She was extremely deficient. The Doctor prescribed a week 50,000 ml pill for 8 weeks. She is better but still needs more work. She will go to once a day at a lower dose but still much higher than buying from the shelf after the eight weeks.

Interesting how sunscreen actually does help curb the possibility of skin cancer, yet it also blocks vitamin D. Sun exposure is massive

6000 D3 is very low amount especially for people who are suffering from some illness. As the doctor said you need at least 10,000 or more to really make any difference in your immuno response. I take 30,000 daily and i am not even sick or have any health issues. But being older i know the absorption decreases with age, also if the person is overweight, darker skin more D3 is needed to see any health improvement, our gut microbiome can also affect vitamin absorption. I also go in the sun whenever possible there is nothing like it for health benefits there are many.
