I wanted to add one more thing about mixed reviews on vitamin D. For example, why do some people,(most) do well on high dose vitamin D, but not everyone. I should probably do a video on this but here's the data: magnesium is the vital cofactor for vitamin D and the more vitamin D you take, the more magnesium is required so IF a person omits magnesium and takes lots of D3, they could experience magnesium deficiency symptoms: lack of sleep, muscle tightness, restlessness, leg/foot cramps, panic attacks, anxiety, etc. Interesting. The same thing goes with magnesium, if you are low on D3, and omit D3 and take lots of magnesium you could end up with bone pain, achy low back, low immune system, sleep problems, etc.

The pain! Oh the pain! I thought I was dying. I had the hip, leg, pelvis, knee and hand pain in my bones and joints. On top of that, I developed a perianal abscess that hasn't healed in two months. I feel so tired and unmotivated and I have so many symptoms of low d3. Even the bones in my feet hurt. On my third course of antibiotics and have seen two doctors and a surgeon so far. Scheduled to see a second surgeon in two weeks. I made a green smoothie tonight and opened up a 50000 IU capsule of d3, a 600 mcg capsule of k2. I also took my magnesium. I shared thw smoothie with my mom who also has similar problems with low back pain and low motivation.I feel a bit better already. Praying that I will continue to heal and that everyone going through this will find the help they need. Thanks Dr. Berg! Important Update: Writing this 4 days after the comment above. I had been seeing Dr. Berg's videos about D3 and I started taking 20,000IU supplement that included K2 in the same pill several months ago. I got so sick that I thought Dr. Berg's advice was wrong and stopped after several days. I suspect the K2 in that pill was not as much as they claimed and that calcification issue Dr. Berg talked about was happening in my joints and causing pain. This time I bought pure D3 by itself (50000 IU) and a separate pill containing 600 mcg of K2. I also take it with magnesium glycinate and a trace minerals tablet which contains the zinc and selenium he recommends. My energy is increasing, my abscess is not gone but is far less inflamed, my mood is better, my bone pain and muscle pain is decreased. Noticing less cracking and popping of joints. It's only been 5 or 6 days and there is noticeable improvement. My mom's back pain is better too but she is a skeptic and will not admit it yet. She lives with me now that dad has passed this summer and I've noticed that she's not popping ibuprofen like candy now. This is the real deal.

Thank you for saying this! I've suspected I've been low on vit D as my back feels like it's coming apart, especially after doing yoga (I used to be so flexible!). It's been so bad but when I took a normal dose of vit D, the pain was worse, the stiffness was worse. So I thought maybe I don't need it and it's just something I'd have to live with. I have had panic disorder for decades, chronic fatigue, mood swings, and recently diagnosed with ADHD. I was bedridden for 2 years, just constantly physically exhausted and brain fogged. I an attest to this. Brain fog, SERIOUS fatigue, pain, all incorrectly diagnosed as "depression" Thankfully a new doctor at my surgery suspected I had thiroid issues due to the fatigue and ordered a whole ramp of blood tests. The thiroid came back as normal, but the vitamin D levels were so low they could not be measured. She gave me a prescription for vitamin D tablets, it took the best part of last year to recover. My takeaway from the situation is, how many people who are diagnosed with depression which does not improve with treatment, are actually suffering from a serious vitamin deficiency? But they are labelled for life with mental illness. All I would ask any medical professional watching this is, if you have a patient come to you showing odd symptoms, please don't jump straight into the "depression" pool, order blood tests first.

@lauriehalbrooks 1594 I could not agree more. I feel my GP's in Australia all from the one practice have been less than casual about my health. I have many work and life injuries and the pain is constant and at times severe. Worst of all is the complete loss of energy, when merely standing up and going to the kitchen is a real chore! Always been healthy and fit, but my last 10years have been a nightmare. Dr Berg and his videos are really who I turn to now and I am coping much better. I take 3,000IU D3 and I will up that to 5,000IU: 1,800mg Mg: and 2,400mg of K and I really feel better to the extent that my 'injuries' seem almost like they are fading....either that or I'm fading! Take care and thanks Dr Berg I am wiser and better educated after your vids.

@@donnahilton471 when you don't know what the underlying issue is and are asking for blood tests explicitly to check vitamin and mineral levels that are repeatedly not done, you don't know. And I was taking high quality vitamin and mineral supplements, just not enough vitamin D apparently. So, I didn't know I had a deficiency. And for the record, many vitamins and minerals are not water soluble and can build up to toxic levels. My dad had toxic levels and came close to death. So, no, not everyone can safely add a supplement.

I had to look for this video in my history to make my comment here. I have been complaining to my husband and everybody who will listen that I have terrible head sweating. A week ago I went and cut 8 in off my hair because of terrible head sweating. Actually as of recent I started sweating from the top of my head to my hips. Now how bizarre is that!!!??? I accidentally ran into this video and I was busy doing something but I heard you say "head sweating". Okay night sweating I have a AC running with a fan full blast in a separate room of my husband that I sleep in!! I have been getting a little bit more grumpy lately but mood swings haven't really been a thing other than PTSD from the state of the world. No real panic attacks. But lately I have had really bad low back pain and right hip pain that comes and goes totally bizarre. Now muscle strength, When I take my dogs for a walk sometimes when I try to walk up a very low grade hill I tell my husband oh my gosh I could barely make it up that hill I just don't have any energy it feels like lactic acid is feeling all my muscle fibers. As for pain I literally have to attend a pain clinic. It's my shoulders and my low back that I'm usually complaining of. Yes I have had spine surgery double spine surgery, fusions of C4567 & a foramenotomy at T1. As for stiffness I wake up with my hands so stiff that I have to exercise them to get them to move. Chronic fatigue, I thought it was related to my diagnosis of 'severe fibromyalgia'. One step forward three steps back. Active for one day then down for three. Memory, I worked as a nurse an LPN for over 20 years and then a RN for two before I had to stop working. My memory is so bad right now I can't tell you how many times I've left the sink on the bathtub running I can't remember an engagement we had a week or a month ago or what my husband told me even 8 hours prior. And since all this began I went from 130 to 160 lbs!!! The very same day I heard you say night sweats which was 3 days ago from this writing I took a loading dose of vitamin d. Probably about 70,000 iu. Did I have head sweats that day??? NO!!!! One more thing, I have had a recent lab drawn. What do you think it showed? My vitamin d result was 25.3, normal is 30.0 - 100. 0. Now I do live in the Pacific Northwest on the peninsula of Washington State. When I was taking chemistry for my RN the instructor did say everybody in the Pacific Northwest is deficient in vitamin d. Now my labs didn't say I was critically low just that I was low. I can't imagine what it would feel like to be critically low!!! Anyway, yesterday was Thanksgiving and was either the second or third day that I was taking vitamin d. No head sweating! I didn't have to cut off all my hair! You really are a lifesaver! Thank you!

I am in tears right now because I moved to USA in 2015 and my autoimmune disease kept getting worse. I used to tell my parents that I am just not feeling satisfied even after eating so much food. I switched back to Indian diet but still I would not feel satisfied. Fast forward to now I just started using D3 daily and I feel more in control of what I eat and I am surprised the way my body and my brain reacts to food. Any bad food I don’t get cravings. I don’t feel like I need to eat something right now, I don’t get hangry. I am blown away by this information. He might be respectable, but he is not the whole truth. For one example, if your body makes it, you shouldn't take a supplement. So, does he tell you how to get your light right to get your vitamin D right? Vitamin D isn't as necessary as everybody thinks. At its best, it is a proxy for how much light you get. It's the other light at the right times that do the right things that are attributed to Vitamin D benefits. Has anyone ever told you that only UVb exposure makes Vitamin D endogenously? We consume both light and food. Light comes first. If we are starving from the daily sunlight and the appropriate dark night, food will not matter. Dr Jack Kruse is the one to respect the most. Go dive down that rabbit hole.

@swen6797 I saw a video the other day with this female Dr who said her dad had been in bad health with low vitamin D. She prescribed him the best prescription vit D & his levels still weren't increasing, so she asked him to go to the tanning bed (after calling to insure the beds had UVb bulbs, since most tanning beds use only UVa). He started going, 3 mins a day and slowly increased. Took his vit D levels a month later and they were a lot better. So apparently, he wasn't absorbing the pill form? I've had low vit D before & given a supplement but they didn't test my levels after prescribing it. I didn't feel any better. I'm wondering if I wasn't absorbing the supplement form. I really think I've got leaky gut, which supposedly will cause you not to absorb nutrients like you're supposed to. (There are various reasons i believe this, not just vit D related) Anyway, just wanted to say, you're right about the UVb exposure being a source of vit D. I'm prob lacking now as well cuz I barely get out in the sun. I'm confined to bed most of the time, unfortunately.

Dr Berg notes: Today, Dr Berg tells you about some of the symptoms that you probably didn’t know were related to vitamin D deficiency. The most common signs that you’re vitamin D deficient include lower back pain, depression, high blood pressure, inflammation, and autoimmune diseases. Blood tests only show you the inactive form of vitamin D and don't tell you about vitamin D at the cellular level. Instead, look out for some of the surprising signs of vitamin D deficiency. 1. Head sweating This is typically seen in infants but can also be seen in teenagers and adults. 2. Sweating more at night If you’re vitamin D deficient, you may sweat excessively, even if the room is cool. You might also wake up with a moist pillow. 3. Mood swings Vitamin D controls mood regulation, so if you’re deficient, you could experience a range of moods in a short time. 4. Procrastinating If you constantly put things off for later, you could be vitamin D deficient! 5. Panic attacks Low vitamin D levels can cause panic attacks, so try taking high doses of vitamin D3 if you’re experiencing them. 6. Achiness Achiness in the pelvis, lower back, hips, and upper legs is often a sign of low vitamin D. 7. Loss of muscle strength If you have low vitamin D, you won’t have enough calcium in the muscles. Calcium allows the muscle to contract and is also involved in muscle production. 8. Stiffness Stiffness related to vitamin D deficiency usually occurs in the knees and fingers. This is related to inflammation, weakened cartilage, and weakened collagen. 9. Chronic fatigue Vitamin D supports your mitochondria, the energy factories of the cell. Without enough vitamin D, you can’t make energy. 10. Slowed down thinking Vitamin D deficiency can cause diminished cognitive function. 11. Difficulty feeling satisfied If you’re vitamin D deficient, you might not feel satisfied after eating, and you’ll have a tendency to overeat. Consider taking around 10,000 to 20,000 IU of vitamin D3 per day, along with the cofactors magnesium, vitamin K2, zinc, and vitamin B6. Thank you Dr Berg! 😺👍

The cravings from vitamin deficiencies are caused by hormonal imbalances and are the big cause to substance abuse, addiction, eating disorders also. People try to fulfill cravings with drugs, alcohol and junk over processed food. One of the root causes is nutritional deficiencies causing hormonal imbalances.

Damn. I never would have put that together but it makes total sense. I learned recently the father of my child's been using drugs. He's never eaten healthy & undoubtedly has multiple vitamin deficiencies. I'm gonna tell him about this. I'd been telling him he needed to focus more on eating healthy even b4 he got on drugs. I doubt telling him will make him stop, but at least it helps me sorta understand why he went n started using.

I had all of these symptoms 5 years after breast cancer treatment. Sweating, mood roller coaster,nooo none motivation, panicing, lower body aches thought was from tamoxifen, tightness in my chest, which I thought was due to surgery, stiffness in hands feet and oh so fatigued. I've been taking a higher dose 12500 for the last 4 weeks and I am a changed person. TRY THIS!!!

I started to fall ill in january of 2021. It started with fatigue, widespread achy pain & loss of strength in my left arm & hand in particular. My dr diagnosed me with fibromyalgia. Cut to a few months later & my blood work showed that I was severely deficient in vit d. Dr put me on D2 50,000iu extended release & I started taking D3, calcium, magnesium, zinc & potassium. Within 6 months i was feeling almost completely back to normal. Never in my life would I have believed it if it didn't happen to me. 😭I should add that I started seeing a rheumatologist & was diagnosed with osteoarthritis & osteopenia as well.

Thank you for this information!! I have had the most health issues over past two years having over 12 surgeries in past 14 months. I’ve recovered from surgeries but started getting bad night sweats, fatigue, insomnia, back pain. I know my doctor has advised me over past couple years my Vitamin D levels were low but didn’t mention all the symptoms that are associated with lack of vitamin D. I’ve been researching and watching videos to determine causes for my symptoms. I found this video and I have 8 out of the 11 symptoms. I spoke to my doctor about my findings from your video and he confirmed your findings. I wish I would have known the severity of issues/symptoms that are affiliated with low vitamin D. I live in a 365 days a year sunshine state so I assumed being outside was enough. Clearly, it is not for me. I went to chemist and bought vitamin D tablets and started taking today to hopefully see improvement in night sweats and back pain. Thank you for sharing your knowledge. As I coach others, knowledge is power. Thank you for your work.

THANK YOU!! Only wish I’d seen your video 10 years ago! I had 7 of these symptoms!! Couldn’t figure out why I was able to stop years of Prozac… now I know why it was possible. Had no idea the head sweating was directly linked to vitamin D deficiency! My Dr must have recognized it and put me on vitamin D… after he heard my complaints. A lot of what I was suffering I attributed to old age and arthritis. I’m 70 years young. Because after addressing the D deficiency, I feel soo much better! He tells me to keep doing whatever I’m doing and he hopes he’ll be as healthy when he gets to my age. It’s strange to be as healthy as I am with the family illnesses I am connected to. The one issue he watches is I am pre diabetic, I am at the threshold is how he describes it. Every family member on my mother’s side and all 5 of my siblings have it and are treated for it as well as heart conditions and overweight issues. My yearly physicals always amaze my Dr and his staff! I am so thankful. For him and my own natural draw to fruits and vegetables as well as a non desire for red meat. I’m simply fine without meat in my diet. I haven’t used sugar in decades and tend to eat a balanced diet. I have never had to fight overweight or deal with obesity that runs parallel in my siblings as well. I simply had no idea that my lack of vitamin D was causing the head and night sweating that was annoying enough that I mentioned it to my Dr. The deficiency showed in my lab work, for sure, so my Dr put me on supplements and I wish I could thank him enough for the wonderful results! Now, I am headed into 71 in February and living a life I never expected to live. Just wanted to tell you my story. And thank you.

Also the "arthritis" and swelling I had in my left hand..gone. I lost 30 lbs as a nice side effect so now I weigh the same as I did in my 20's. I'm 65 now. Turns out I was pretty severely deficient, and he got me a prescription right away. Gods bless that man. He continues to impress even now with his nuanced understanding of health. Deep down i knew it was something physical. My level came out 23, as long as i remember my adult years my chest, belly and throat, shoulder area was soo tight. I would cry by myself because of the pain. Last week i started 20.000 iu per week, and got magnesium too, in 1 week i feel a bit more 'lighter' i still have tightness, but it feels my body is more softer and more relaxed. I'll see how it will improve in the coming weeks... God knows how i lived in hell for years...

I got extremely ill from vitamin D deficiency. It was so bad I could not sleep, had zero energy to get out of bed, chronic fatigue, and was like a freaking zombie. I didn't have all these symptoms, it was a process figuring it out. I thought it was a B12 deficiency, and it may have been part of my overall health issue, but not the reason I got so bad. Working at nights and not taking a supplement was the culprit.

I suffered from fatigue after eight months of night shift work. I had neglected to take any vitamin D supplements during this time, plus very limited exposure to sunlight as it was during the autumn/winter months leading into spring. My main symptom was decreasing energy levels, very subtle at first, but then became more noticeable over time, resulting in drinking more caffeine and sugary drinks to offset deficit. It just made the inevitable 'crash' worse, to the point I was bedridden for almost a week with severe fatigue. After that, I made sure I took at least 4,000 IUs a day. Seems to be doing the trick after several years.

As a former pharmacist how is it you are not aware that you should be taking K2 with D3 because they work synergistically? Otherwise you are risking cardiovascular and arteriovascular disease if you take really high D3 doses as this guy is suggesting. D3 needs K2 to send calcium where it is supposed to go. Into the bones and teeth. Perhaps it is assumed most people get enough K2 naturally from food sources but it is not true of the western civilization diet which is seriously nutrient/vitamin deficient.

This is what happened to me after the lockdowns. I kept getting Covid, had respiratory inflammation, stuffy head, shortness of breath, sleeping 14+ hours a night and waking up exhausted and out of breath like I had been running, couldn't concentrate, couldn't read a wiring diagram - I've been a controls electrician for 30 years, normally I can read diagrams as easily as the morning paper. I was taking max strength vitamin D but after 2 years it wasn't working. One day after showing vids like this to my better half, who is a nurse, we realised my low fat diet and cereals for breakfast meant my D Tablets washed right out with my morning tea. D is fat soluble, not water soluble. We changed my diet around to replace the morning carbs with a mixed leaf Olive salad, an egg or two and a tiny bit of steak. After a couple of months, what a difference! Energy is up, strength is up, wayyyy more positive, aches and pains have disappeared, learning is easier - learning German now - and my music skills are increasing at a rate I didn't think possible. Things I didn't understand or couldn't do for 2 years all came back but better. It's crazy!

I thought I was having a stroke. I stood up and was veering to the left, couldn't walk a straight line, couldn't walk down a single step without hanging on to something. Tripped and fell a few times my balance was so off. I had been experiencing crushing fatigue, ravenous hunger, general myalgia that moved around, and bad brain fog as well. Got bloodwork done and my vitamin D was at 6.5 ng/mL. I also was diagnosed with type II diabetes at the same time with an hbA1c of 6.5. I started taking 5000 iu/day and felt significantly better within a couple weeks. It took me a good year to feel entirely back to normal. I also lost about 65 pounds without feeling famished all the time, normal hunger when time for a meal but not that ravenous feeling, A1c is now 5.5, and my balance has finally returned to almost baseline but it's still a little off, I can think on my feet again and I'm back to my old sarcastic self. I did drop down to 2000 iu/day for now. I'll have bloodwork done again in about a month and will see if I need to tweak how much I'm taking. At 64 I thought some of my aches and pains were not unusual, I've taken more than one hard fall off my horse, busted my knees up pretty badly, etc. But I feel better at 65 than I did a year ago.

It's because of the Chemical Additives in the foods and drinks for supermarket and stores. Especially is the E330 also called citric acid or "lemon salt" in layman terms. It "eats" all the Calcium in the body (because the E330 (lemon salt) is acidic is "sour" and creates an acidic environment, melts,eats the Calcium from the body and the D3 too! The E330 is in every food or drink from the stores, and if it's under 3% they are allowed by law to not mention it on the ingredients list! This "lemon salt" E330 it's deposited in the body in little micro-deposits on the walls of the organs,veins etc., the same like natural salt in a Mine! And from this deposits we receive daily the disolved solution, Dosage, solution "treatment" of E303 poison! They put this E303 even in : milk, sweetsn foods, beer, in liquids and solids too. Also these and other Chemicals (pesticides) are sprayed on the skin,peel of the crops when are green and soft so that these burn into the plants,grains,reaching to the core of the plants,grains,fruits grains,wheat,etc.,. And ofcourse, at the production and process of foods they add this chemical additives, E330 and others. Who thinks only meat diet is the solution, know that in production, the meat is injected with Chemical Additives also, so the microbes won't eat it!And also before production, the animal eats wheat peels andwheat grains and other grains sprayed on fields with strong chemicals that burn and enter inside the core of wheat and other graines, plants,etc.And this chemical sprayed grains and plants is eaten by animals and the poison of chemicals are deposited in the fat and meat of the animal, that the people eat it later! The solution is to grow plants, potatoes,vegetables in your own garden, not sprayed with chemicals, or by from peasants who ATLEAST don't spray the crops with chemicals, on their skin,peel, and reaching the core because this chemicals burn into the plants,fruits,grains etc. The bottled water from stores is also added with chemical additives because there's a limit of microbes per ml, permitted by law,so to reach that limit they also micro-poison the bottled water too! So still, the tap water is preferably!

When I was first diagnosed with MS in 1998 ( I was 23years old), first thing I heard about vitamin D deficiency was at Rancho Los Amigos Hospital by a very trustworthy Egyptian neurologist I went with my husband for a second opinion . She confirmed my diagnosis and explained that and it might be related to vitamin d deficiency as she was doing a research on on this topic. Thank you for informing us of this very important truth which seems to scare the big mafia ( not all scientist are part of that mafia) in medicine manufacturing corporations.🙏♥️

Doctors are not people who heal you anymore. They find your symptoms and dispense a pill that makes them go away. Often that is a valid cure or treatment, but it's never part of healing, which would require preventing whatever is causing the issue and helping you get rid of it permanently.

I'm so glad this is being brought to light. I suffered terribly for nearly 2 years while doctors never even ran a simple vitamin D test. I had sweating, completely bedridden from the fatigue, severe anxiety and panic attacks, bone and body pain from head to toe that became so bad I couldn't walk or lift my arms over my head. No appetite and severe neausea. I had a full blown tan and still extremely deficient. I notice it wasnt mentioned here but taking too high of a dose of vitamin D can tip your calcium high on lab values. I take 5000 unit d3 plus 300mg magnesium glycinate and 100mg k2 as mk7. It took 8 months to get my levels up from a 6 to a 77. I've never had another panic attack since then! Also thank you for mentioning taking magnesium and cofactors because most doctors wont tell you this and then you end up magnesium deficient.

Hi - Thank you for sharing. Unfortunately I have experienced the same issues. I was a triathlete, sleeping early and waking up at 4 am to stretch and train until 6:45 am. - 6 days a week. I did this for decades. I thought I was eating well but I noticed a few months before I literally could not raise my head or arm to get out of bed & that I had begun to develop a bit of inflammation around my little ankles and wrists. Was bizarre! My blood work didn't show any deficiencies!!! I spent 6 months in bed with my parents having to watch over me. (I have never done drugs nor smoked or popped pills. No alcohol. No cokes, no sweets except for berries.) 8 years later I finally I found a specialist who discussed DR. BERG'S important points: lack of minerals. Incredibly grateful!!!! I am almost 100% again. DR BERG IS A GODSEND.

A little tip: If you or another interested person have a vitamin D deficiency, you can take a higher daily dose for 2-3 weeks (e.g. 20,000 or 30,000 iu) and then reduce to the daily calculated maintenance dose after this time. The advantage of this is that you will have a good level in a short time and not only in a few months.
@JCX-9
@JCX-9 5 ай бұрын
That’s the reason you need to take the cofactors: Magnesium and K2 will send the calcium to your bones instead of free floating in your bloodstream and getting in your arteries or elsewhere where you don’t want calcium to go. Zinc and Boron are also important for good absorption. Although 77 is good level it’s not where you should start taking less of vit D. The best levels are 85-100 even over that especially if someone is fighting an illness. Remember that when you scale down the amount of D3 you take your levels will drop too. There is no way to maintain the sufficient levels by taking less of D3 as someone here is suggesting.

I’d been feeling completely drained, even after sleeping for 13 hours. I’d wake up even more exhausted, with body aches and cramps in my lower half. My mood was all over the place, I felt confused, and my brain fog kept getting worse. I started to wonder if it was my thyroid causing all these issues. I went to my doctor, had some blood tests done, and finally got an answer-I have an extreme vitamin D deficiency. Thankfully, my doctor was quick to act and prescribed me 50,000 IU of vitamin D right away. Honestly, I feel so relieved to have some clarity. I was starting to wonder if I was depressed or if my body was just shutting down. It’s been a tough time, but today I officially began my treatment, and I’m feeling optimistic about moving forward.

Was diagnosed with Clinically Isolated Syndrome back in October, but had been having daily (all day) low level headaches, head pressure and fogs for almost a year. When I started taking 4000iu of Vitamin D a day all my symptoms immediately reduced by 95%. The fogs and head pressure went away completely and the all day headaches I used to get rarely happen anymore and when I do get a headache it usually goes away rather than staying all day. Now I'll be taking Vitamin D every day for the rest of my life and I also started taking Magnesium along with it.

I even had veins removed from my legs thinking the leg pain was from that. I had been having night sweats as well. I was in a bad way, actually quit my job because I could not handle the stress and decision making. I had been on steroids, other drugs for the PA. My doctor prescribed large monthly doses of Vitamin D and said this will probably cure it for you as I had very low levels. I didn't believe it. I kept taking it, took a while, but now I am completely free. Actually fitter than ever, I am a 52 year old female and I am a painter and cleaner. I can work all day, pain free, doing things that someone half my age would do. I used to sleep most of the day and want to eat everything. Now I am extremely active and losing weight. The little energy i had went out of the window and i started having cramps on my legs, my arms started feeling weak, to the point i was having a hard time climbing stairs and even getting in/out of bed was like a baby giraffe (shaky legs/arms , fell on my face too many times) finally i got a MRI , blood work, and even went to therapy, but i felt more like just dropping to the floor and asked ppl to let me die!!! it was until i started watching your videos i and reviewing my blood test results, i started taking magnesium, vitamin d/k and also the liver detox. i am due back to follow up , i hope i get better results next time. in the mean time, i feel less bloated and definitely more energetic.

I'm sorry your doctor refused to order a retest. I used to work for a primary doctor and endocrinologist and I've worked for a medical doctor naturopath. They all retested after 3 months of weekly 50,000 IU's. Almost all of our patients only went up 20 to 30 points. So we would continue to prescribe 50,000 IU's for another 3 months and then retest. Optimal range is 70-100. That was our goal. When you get in that range you're talking about optimal hormone function optimal energy optimal mood an optimal immune system. Not sure why your doctor made a big deal because all medical insurances including Medicare pay for vitamin D testing as long as you have the ICD-9 code attached which is vitamin D deficiency code. Insurance pays for it. I would find another doctor who takes this serious. A doctor who respects that each person is bio logically different and each patient is different. You pay their salary.
@Cristina-hq2pq
@Cristina-hq2pq 4 ай бұрын
I also forgot to mention. As I was saying that each person is biologically made different we all have different DNA. So our body responds different. Many patients after 6 months were still low in vitamin D, so then we knew that they needed to take a different combo of vitamin d and vitamin mk7 . Some patients would not absorb the vitamin D better than others so they would have to take it with a fatty meal for maximum absorption. The journey is different for everyone and when you find a doctor who understands that they tend to listen to your input and go off of your input rather than a standard protocol.

I’m so glad that I came across your video today. Immediately I subscribed it.❤ This comment is going to be a little long. I’m an engineer by profession and a dancer too. I suffered from severe ankle tendinitis in 2021. I couldn’t walk for eight months without braces and in those eight months I had to wear walker boot for a couple months. I’ve been to orthopedics surgeon, podiatrist, and rheumatologist. I ended up spending a lot while visiting all these doctors thinking I would get an answer. Though rheumatologist ordered a lab test for ANA CRP, CBC etc. The detailed blood test gave us an insight of probability of cause of inflammation but initially, they stated that it could be degenerative arthritis. They also said it could be because of your background of professional dancer for 20 years and that is why your feet has become flat😢😢 To my surprise, none of the doctors payed attention to head sweating(started a year ago) and other symptoms mentioned in this video. I am in my early 30s and how degenerative arthritis can be this severe at 30. They also said about a possibility of passing genes from ancestors. I have performed on stage all my childhood in school time and on a national level too. 2021 to Till date it’s hard to believe how and when it happened, how it has changed few activities in life. The inflammation was super high so I started eating anti-inflammatory food and after two years We got tested again and thank God the inflammations came out to be normal. I have PCOS and vitamin D deficiency as well. But when I turned 30 I never knew that excess sweating could be Vit-D deficiency itself. And many other symptoms that you satiated in this video are so relatable. But I can relate to those aches, I still get whenever I have a hectic day or just physically stressed day. Let me tell you running jogging, dancing, and wearing heels. My doctor asked me to stop all of the above. It is a kinda disappointment, but I’m still hopeful that I will be able to overcome this and be able to wear heels and do all those activities again. I will make sure I take vitamin D timely. By the way, for those who said it’s toxic to take higher amount. I had taken 60000IU weekly, biweekly or monthly depending on how low the vitamin D is in the body. I hope my message is helpful to someone who is reading this .❤

I have all of the Symptoms 😢 All day I work indoors. Later at night my back pain goes up with my whole right leg pain , In work time i feel 1. Dizzy 2. Not organized 3. Easily forget simple task 4. Mood changing 5. Less motivation to work . But I remember I work on an island for a month where most of the time I work direct sunlight And I didn't feel any pain in my back, 😮 So I now know what is causing all the trouble

I just wanted to add that a Vit D deficiency can impact dental implants and cause them to fail due to poor healing. Recently, I had to see an oral surgeon as I needed a broken tooth removed and an eventual crown placement. As I was giving the medical assistant my med list, I mentioned I was taking Vitamin D. My oral surgeon stopped what he was doing and thanked me for telling him that and mentioned the above. I had been put on it 3 months earlier due to a critically low Vit D level - I'm monitored due to having hyperparathyroidism 2 yrs ago and had one of the glands removed.

Sooooo.... I live in the northeast, my mother passed away this January, doctors told me in March I'm low in Vitamin D. I forgot to take my pills and wasn't consistent, became unemployed in August, got my first ever panic attack in September. I'm never forgetting my Vitamin D again! 🤕

I was deficient in D and was prescribed 50k of it daily for 30 days. The only symptoms I felt were being tired all the time and feeling unmotivated.

I really appreciate this. My 15 year old brother was just diagnosed with type 1 diabetes. And my dad when he was 36 woke up with type 1.5 diabetes. I suspect that the part of the problem is a severe vitamin d deficiency. And both their pancreases work, which is also strange to me.

4 years ago when I found out I had low vit D, I was feeling so off. I felt like I was going crazy and couldnt think straight, my body felt like I wanted to jump out of my skin. It was awful. I went to the doc about a week later and blood test showed low vit D. Sometimes I get tbose symptoms again if I forget to take my vitamins but thankfully I know what it is. Im pretty dark skinned (Mexican) and moved to Kansas about 5 years ago(military). I never had this issue until I moved here. I really do feel that has something to do with it.

Sheesh, you are listing every symptom I have. I lost 50 pounds got all my labs right but my COPD is still causing me. Massive inflammation in the joints, just like you describing. Losing the weight and changing my dietary intake definitely has improved my quality of life, but there’s no beaten that damn COPD. I’ve watched the various videos on COPD and through my food intake, exercise weight, loss, and everything I can thanks a whole bunch cause you’ve been a huge help.
