I think you understand that being an immigrant means not being thankful to Allah for the condition of their homeland. But there is nothing wrong in migration in the pursuit of a better life. As for western countries being unsafe for your Iman, in this time and era, not even Muslim countries provide completely safe environment for our faith. The rulers there are more corrupt and unjust. Most of the women there may be more covered, but they are engaged in backbiting with hijab on and hating and judging others for petty reasons. Good company is extremely rare even in my country bangladesh which is like 90% Muslim population. I'm speaking from experience. And you probably haven't heard of Belal Assaad's full story. He was born in Australia and his parents immigrated from Lebanon. And if you look at the situation in Lebanon, a chunk of the population is secular and live so-called western lifestyle. The Muslim nations aren't too different from secular nations in terms of social culture, and in terms of justice and regulations, the latters are far better. It is not a problem if someone migrates to somewhere else to live a better life when they are able to practice their faith freely.
