Hey I agree that it’s ridiculous that some people can’t change a tire. But, some people that’s just the life they live and their parents don’t teach them those types of things. Keep up the great work I enjoy the videos!

Not a thing wrong with being a little crazy as long as you have a plan and some fun. I worked in nursing homes a little over 20 years. Things like your tires can be a good way to keep stress at a manageable level. Rock on. 👍

Since it is not powerful enough to pull stumps, replacing the tractor treads is not big deal for performance. I dig it ! Looks awesome ! Mrs. Stoney Ridge will have to step a little higher to get in. You may end up in the dog house for not asking her opinion first. But, she seems like a pretty easy going gal. I know you have tractors for pulling and hauling big loads. And, for moving snow etc. The gator is mainly a get around tool. As you have said before. Take 15 minutes and swap the wheels from left to right side. The tread on traction tires (as in Tractor) always points forward. Good video Josh.

Its not just teach your son's, teach all your kids to change a car tire regardless of their gender. When my sister went to OU, when she was able to take a car to school she got the old 55 Buick Special, this was in 1960 or 61. My dad made her prove she could change a tire by herself before he let her take the car to school. She had to actually do a tire change in the driveway, no lightweight spares back then, she had to do the complete change all by herself. Well done to my dad for doing this, and my sister as well for demonstrating she could do it!
@StoneyRidgeFarmer6 жыл бұрын
Amen!!!! Here's one for ya....my wife is a petite lady...but she wants to operate the tractor......my only stipulation is that she be able to hold the clutch and brake down for 90 seconds.....if she can do this she can safely operate the tractor...if not.....it's simply unsafe....Will do a video on this soon! Thanks for your comment buddy

My Daughter pulled the engine in her 74 Dodge Dart and changed all the gaskets. guess it leaked oil in the school parking lot and embarrassed her. Plus she impressed the guys when she had to jump the starter with a screwdriver to get started one day. I only supervised the engine pull.

The Gater looks good with the bigger wheels. Needs some mud tires though. Before I would let my son get his license he had to be able to do basic maintenance. He knew how to change oil, check and add transmission fluid, and coolant etc. He also could change a tire.

@carlschnell24486 жыл бұрын
I enjoy your channel and the content that of your videos. Just wanted to point out that your tires ARE direction specific! The correct rotation is reversed of how they are installed. Simply put the ones you have on the left onto the right side, and the rights onto the left. Looks pretty cool though and fun to kick around the farm but I agree with Gene Foster's comment about possible drivetrain damage with different size tires when 4wd is engaged. Keep up the fun videos!
