Red Cannibal is Mathew Cross, father of Megan Cross. He and his company were making a research in that island about ''artifact.'' After awhile they learned that artifact works only, if it has power which is ''life.'' But there is something else. The life that artifact needs belongs to children. So they make experiences on children. But something bad happens, and those children turn into mutants and kill everybody. Including Megan Cross. But Mathew learns how to survive in the forest by covering himself in red paint. (Idk how) He then uses the second artifact for making our plane crush, because he needs children who can give his daughter life. He covers himself in red paint, and kidnapps our son. Then he puts Timmy into maschine..and his daughter comes back. But as a mutant. She kills him by turning into a mutant. After awhile, we do the same thing for our son (by making that plane cursh)We sacrifice a child for our son. But the result is same.Timmy turns into a mutant and kills everybody. But there is a point. Cannibal uses our son and his daughter turns into a mutant in couple of weeks. But our son Timmy turns into a mutant after 1 year. (IDK WHY)(Please say what your thoughts are. Ceyhun Akalın It might be that the turn into mutants when they feel threatened. Megan gets scared when a random person walks up to her and when the person on the tv show picks up his axe, timmy feels thretened (like a canible would do if you would hold an axe in front of him).

Also Spoiler Alert You could see Megan with blood and the she became a mutant we do not no. And at the end, Timmy starts freaking out Megan does when she became a mutant but when Timmy starts freaking out, it terns black so Timmy was saved but he was still pierced by the spikes that he was put into. The mutant that Megan turned into was unknown since that when you look at her when she is a mutant, she definitely does not look like the armsy or virgina or legsy she if faster and much more taller I think. She has 3 legs and the middle is a mess with Megan in the middle of it.

From what the story tells us, I think the red cannibal is Dr. Cross, the Megan girls father. He must be the one who shot down the plane to use Timmy to save his daughter Megan. Despite him being a cannibal I think he was still capable of thinking straight for a while, but I think he eventually went crazy just like the other cannibals, since I'm pretty sure all the cannibals on the island are the scientists and other staff from the lab. One of the drawings you find by Megan picture a red cannibal with the word "Daddy" under it. She probably drew this after he went crazy. Just like how the player can put on the red paint to scare the cannibals, he must have put it on himself to be able to bypass all the cannibals to come out and take Timmy. But after he went crazy Megan must have killed him since you can find his body with crayons stuck in it. Then the events that the player experiences occur and Eric (the player) shoots down the second plane and takes a kid from there, then is somehow rescued.

I think the company came there to do some kind of secret experiments. So they built the vault. They failed at the experiment and they all became "cannibals" and got crazy. Only one who didnt lose his mind is the red cannibal. Maybe the red cannibal needed Timmy to recover and become a human again. And the character (Whatever his name is) is a reality TV-star, like the page from the magazine says. And the camps around the map could be the film groups, since they have human bodies and food stuff in them. The film group didnt know there were mutants on the island they all died. Maybe the whole plane crash was planned, or was just a part of the film. Then the red cannibal tought Timmy was dying and saved him. I think the vault has a laboratory inside it. Or maybe everything is a lie, maybe it's all just 1 film.

He might have done that and got timmy to revive meghan. But then it goes wrong and meghan becomes a mutant. So then you shoot down a plane and you get another child. Spoiler alert I believe that this "Red Cannibal" is actually a scientist from the company that made the lab that includes the 2 artifacts inside. His daughter, Megan Cross, was dead and he wanted to revive her. Hence he used the second artifact, which was belived to be able to bring down a plane, to find a living sample to revive her, and that plane was the player's plane. He took Timmy and placed him inside the first artifact, where the player finds him inside it, dead. Megan was revived and well, but not for long. When the player looks for a sample, he finds a girl on the ground in a big room, drawing and colouring with blood on her hands. There was a drawing by here which includes a man in red, looking angry with hair, pants and shoes on and the word "daddy". The man that came onto the player's plane was painted in red, therefore he could be her father. When the player approached her, she turns into a mutant with long limbs. This could be explained through the encounters of 2 mutants. It could be possible that the company found that this artifact could resurrect people. Parents with sick children were willing to pay to revive their children, but they found out that they needed a living sample everytime they wanted to resurrect someone, hence using the second artifact that brings down a plane to find a sample. About a year after a child is resurrected, they suddenly turn into a mutant that shows aggressive behavior and other changes such as multiple limbs and multiple sex organs. Hence the company asks for all children that has been resurrected to return to the lab. They were placed in observation rooms and soon, they became mutants and killed all/most of the staff working for the company. Now they live around the island. That's why I think that the red man is actually Megan Cross's father and not the saviour of Timmy

So I think that the red canabal is one of their "experiments" but is different than the other canabals in the census that he's more smart, caring, observant and adaptable. He is not a cannibal and he didn’t save Timmy. It is Matthew Cross, he paints himself read so the cannibals worship and fear him instead of harassing and hurting him as he travels (how this works idk). He was a worker at Sahara. Though when you have red paint in the actual mutants could care less and are not afraid of you. This is why I think you see him a few times around the map and find Timmys drawings and toys all over. He was moving Timmy to nee safe locations to get back to the artifact. Whats messed up is, if the moving Timmy theory is correct. That means the first time you find the yacht, you probably swam over to explore it right? Well, Timmys right there! From a distance you can see the Red Man duck down into a hatch and hide when you first approach the yacht. He is probably in that locked room, and later, Megan probably took that key card from him when she killed her father, and thats why after the game you can get in the secret yacht door. But yeah, he took Timmy to bring Megan back. So he is the reason why Timmy is dead. But he also took pity on Eric and kept him alive, father to father, and took care of Timmy for all that travel time. Letting the boy rest and play (draw pictures) before continuing on.

I think the red cannibal/Sahara (Boss) made the plane crash. When you go through that door with the keycard you can see a lot of red paint. Maybe Megan thinks you are the red cannibal / Sahara boss since she points her finger to you at the end. Maybe that is the reason why she becomes that big end boss. You do the same thing, but the artifact infects the kids with the 'thing' we see coming out of Megan (which is why the red cannibal got killed by Megan, with the crayons jammed inside his head)

The red man was a passenger on the plane before the players, but that was plane got taken down the same way the player takes the plane down at the end of the game. The red man's daughter, Megan, was taken by a cannibal (let's call him Dave) before the red man was a cannibal. Dave took the red man's daughter so he could save his son/daughter who was taken by yet ANOTHER cannibal that made Dave's plane go down to save HIS son/daughter. The red man then found megan and she was dead, so he made the players plane go down to take Timmy and save megan. So then the player took down the plane at the end of the game to take a surviving child and save Timmy. Megan turned to a cannibal and started twitching which then made the boss fight character. Timmy did the same because he was brought back to life the same way that megan was. The first cannibal to take Dave's son/daughter was once a child like Timmy and Megan but was brought back to life by a plane crash survivor. Much like Timmy and Megan, that one also started twitching and turned to a cannibal after a while of being brought back to life. The boss cannibal that used to be megan was killed by the player like, but with either no player to kill this one, or maybe this one killed the player, the cannibal was still alive and that's where all the cannibals came from. Either that or maybe the Sahara company brought people back to life using the artifacts they made but those people turned to cannibals and that's where the cannibals came from. The Sahara people were all killed by those cannibals and thus came the island full of cannibals and the plane crash is an endless loop needed to save the life of a plane crash survivors child.

He takes timmy to sacrifice him in a artifact thing to revive his daughter Megan, but she is a spider monster (because of a defect of bringing her back to life) so you kill her and try to use her to revive Timmy, but you need a live sample so you shot down a plane with another artifact and use someone from that one (noticing a patern? ) then you turn up at a game show but then Timmy turns out to be a spider monster also because of the defect of bringing him back to life, then the game ends...

Its been pretty firmly established that the red cannibal is one, Dr. Cross who worked for the Sahara Organization on the Lazarus project. It's likely he was the lead scientist on the project and as such might have been seen to regularly interact with the indigenous people of the island who were likely captured and held at the facility as part of the experimentation that was being carried out. For this reason the cannibals have learned to associate him as one to fear or respect.

As many people have also been saying, I believe that the red cannibal, or red man, is not a cannibal at all and in actuality Megan Cross's dad, Matthew Cross who is not saving Timmy, but kidnapping him to save his daughter Megan who died by the hands of an armsy (get the joke) during a breach. he knew that the resurrection obelisk could bring back the dead, but with a sacrifice, so he kidnapped Timmy and kept him healthy so that he would have a healthy sacrifice to bring back Megan. He wears the red paint and lives on the island because most of the cannibals wear red or white paint so he disguised himself as one so that he could live among them to learn more about the machine since the machine normally mutates people it resurrects. The other cannibals see him as a sort of god not leader because he is more advanced than the rest of them and uses tools that they can't, so when they see you wearing red paint and using those tools they think that you are either him or another one like him. I went in to way too much detail about that lol

i just bought this game a few days ago but i believe the red man is basically the same person like you. he crashed, lost his daughter and takes your son as 'live sample' to get the F out of there. but realized it was to late to safe megan. you endure the same troubles as him to safe timmy and crash the next plane. only im trying to figure out how we got away from the island back home.

Red was used as a phsycological motivator for the experiments on the island. Similar to pavlovs dog hearing a bell and expecting food, the cannibals were trained to fear/worship the color red. That's why the final hallway is red, so as to discourage them from coming into the facility. They do the same with the painted man, and you while your wearing paint, and that's why it's stashed around the island, in the event it gets washed off.

At the end of the game we crashed a plane so we can save Timmy by puting the kid we took when we crashed the plane in the machine, cause we need a live sample. The redcannibal (Megans dad) saved megan but she turned into a mutant and killed him. Sry for my bad english xD

It's not his son homie. The "Red Cannibal" was the head scientist (Matthew Cross) at the research facility, and as they were fucking with the two artifacts I'm assuming an outbreak and mutants and cannibals happened. Shortly after, his daughter, Megan Cross, is killed or dies somehow -- so in order to revive her, Matthew, aka the Red Cannibal, uses the second artifact to bring down your plane and takes Timmy as a sacrifice for his daughter. Shortly after she is revived (I'm assuming the artifact mutates her and turns her evil, real Dead Space-esque), she murders her father, the Red Cannibal (you see his body ravaged by Crayola next to pictures drawn by Megan). After you kill mutant Megan, you realize you need a live sacrifice, so you go to the second artifact and bring down another plane to sacrifice another child, like Matthew Cross did. This time, instead of getting killed by your now mutant son, you somehow get off the island and write a book -- but as you're on a talk show about your book, Timmy freaks the fuck out and as he's mutating the game ends. So nah, Timmy isn't actually the Red Cannibals son -- there's no repeating time loop, or anything.

I think the red cannabal / man is a person who has survived on the island and even brings down the plane at the beginning of the game. He was definitely trying to save someone he loved using the machine in the mountains. This ends up being the same thing done by the player to save Timmy.

And because the red cannibal went through the same stuff that the player went through to revive his kid when the player revives Timmy at the end of the game Timmy turns into the same monster Megan turned into. Keep in mind that to revive Timmy the player had to crash a plane to get another child so the game is a repeating cycle. That's my theory on the game

RC is either an old high ranking lab worker who lost his daughter to *insert illness here*. he then made a giant lazer and shot down your plane stole your son and used it to revive his daughter who then killed him. it's this or its a never ending chain and all survivers go through this process, but i find that unlikely.

My theory is that this is some time looping shit, where the red man is actually the player who is taking the kid because he dies later for unexplained reasons, so he discovers a Sahara company facility and finds some sort of time artefact they might have discovered along the way that they really shouldn't have, and your character uses this, somehow triggers the plane crash (maybe the time artefact has a sort of effect on weather where it rips open large storms through the time and destination of its use. The player character then investigates the crash, to find his son, he takes his son, and the duplication of the player from the previous timeline then goes on HIS quest to find his son. This would be a cool way to tie in the game's new game feature, saying this is another timeloop, kind of like how undertale tied save features into its game, shown in the genocide run more than anything else
