i didn’t watch naruto as a kid, sadly, so i don’t quite feel the nostalgia that everyone else feels. however, after finishing watching naruto last year, and catching up with boruto now, that show has made such a fucking impact on me, and is the only show that made me cry multiple times, whether it was jiraiya, itachi, and now this. i loved naruto and kurama’s duo, imo it was better than naruto and sasuke, and also imo one of, if not the greatest bond in anime. to see him go hurts, and since this episode came out last sunday, i still cry every time this shit is brought up. RIP kurama, thank you for being there for naruto, and for us Edit: also, i would like to share my favorite moment with them. i think it would have to be after the war was finally over and all the tailed beasts were out, and naruto screams OI, KURAMAAA! and saying shit like “did you miss me?” and all that. it’s such a sweet moment, and kurama’s answer after just makes the moment so much better. now everyone is using that in fucking edits and making me cry all the time, i can’t catch a break. lastly, naruto’s b day was this past sunday, so i just wanted to say HAPPY BELATED B DAY NARUTO.

He's NEVER told obito that he forgave him for what he did to everyone, he's NEVER been that kind of person. That's the kind of person Naruto is, he's not forgiving, he simply knows that the endless years of war breeds mentally unstable shinobi, and in order to acquire peace he must ALSO listen to and understand why they did the things that they did. It's the exact reason he even brings it up in the manga, you're never supposed to bring up past trauma that was already forgiven, he brings it up because they've NEVER spoken about it before and he wanted to let Kurama know that it's water under the bridge. That scene would've been some of Narutos greatest character development ever if they actually built upon it

I was born in 1992 and started watching Naruto when I was 12, basically the same age as Naruto is in season 1. I'm 29 now with a 7-year-old son and a 3-month old. This episode made me cry like a baby because it really is like watching someone you've known for 19 years pass away. Dragon Ball Z didn't hit the same way because I was too young to really understand the bond between a father and son. But this show has actually tracked with every phase of my own life. I can't think of any other show that has been able to pull this off. It's pretty incredible what amine can do.

My favorite thing about kurma is this moment. Really it's a 180 from him, even near the end of Shippuden, this is probably the first truly selfless act he's ever performed. It's like, he knew that not only if he didn't do that everything would be lost, but also that naruto has more to live for. It was his choice, and if it wasn't for him making that choice, there couldn't have been a good outcome. Mans went out like a true shinobi.

Knew what was coming, still had tears. The ending montage and music got me... and Naruto's voice too.. I always had some odd nostalgic and sad vibes from the ending without really knowing why but damn... all this time it was in front of us: that ending was a tribute to Kurama and I kinda knew it, deep down... RIP Kurama ;(

Isshiki got beat with quite literally the oldest trick in the book. The structure of power in the verse is shattered now since Rinnegone and Kurama. Best episode of Boruto hands down, I read it, knowing this was coming and I still lost it. That montage hit so hard, they saved the entire world together, and now Kuramas gone. GGs, RIP Kurama.

I love that Kurama was really just a force of nature that didn't want to be tied down by humans. He was used for his power because they were all afraid of the tailed beasts or each other. He was used and had to take all the punishment by himself. Dude got forced into a baby and was powerless to stop it. But the baby eventually shows him a new side to everything, it's just beautiful

Kurama had one of the best character arcs in Naruto. From being a monster that destroyed the leaf and killed so many people to being apart of the leaf, respected and saving everyone while sacrificing only himself. I've cried multiple times during the years of the show but the way they ended the episode with the credits, when that aired live I was alone in my room at 2am balling my eyes out like I just lost a brother. It hurt so much. To this day one of the best fight scenes and most tragic deaths. One thing Naruto always did right as a show was having impactful deaths. We just never thought the day would come when it was Kurama because we always assumed he'd be with Naruto until his own death. Hope Boruto continues to be a banger of a show and have more great moments, the current arc is cool but filler arcs are here now because we caught up to the Manga again. Just hope we get some cool new stuff down the line on par with Shippuden.

The fight on the bridge with Zabuza and Haku, the first time Naruto fought Gaara when we thought that was Kurama when he transformed, the first fight with Sasuke at the valley of the end, the Orochimaru fight... Grew up with this duo, damn this anime really shaped my character, so many memories

I think my favorite Kurama moment is a very short one, but it's impacted me a lot, and really represented his character arc in my opinion. It's the moment in the final battle between Naruto and Sasuke when Kurama was telling Naruto about the last bit of chakra he gathered for his rasengan, and Naruto stuck his fist out, and after a momentary look of confusion, Kurama smiled and bumped his fist back before Naruto went to finally save Sasuke from darkness. It's also beautiful to me because it shows how similar Kurama and Sasuke are, and it's almost like Kurama bumping Naruto's fist back was his way of showing Naruto he acknowledged him and knew he could save Sasuke from hatred since Naruto had already saved Kurama and saved his heart from hatred before.

@@heavenlyill Exactly, i personally never thought that Sasuke was ever nerfed because of his Missing arm, maybe 1-3% but he can still use jutsus as befor and even learn new ones, its stated hand seals are used to "help" the caster manipulate and control their chakra levels to execute the jutsu. Hand seals indicate how a shinobi can manipulate their chakra properly. However, a highly-skilled shinobi can perform a wide range of jutsu with one hand, or for some - no seals at all. Him Losing the Rinnegan is a true nerf.

Kurama is the same person who believed in Naruto for saving Sasuke and give the final blow to Sasuke and become hokage, and was the person who was watching Naruto since birth for Minato and Kushina, and managed to see him become Hokage for Jiraiya and the previous generations. Kurama is awesome indeed.

Honestly best reaction to this episode I've seen and that's no joke. I remember coming home from work in 2004 watching naruto every week a new episode sometimes missing weeks or months and watching them back to back from episode 1 of naruto and then going to naruto shippuden right after watching him grow and grow along with myself even though its fake, it's a fake character alot of people spent years of their life with him and this series..... so even though you spent the last year or so getting caught up on the series you're reaction is the most honest truth that you can love something without a doubt even if it's not real... sorry for the rant 😅
