Now this is a game where the Canucks showed the fans they learned and literally overcame adversity within the game itself. First period was okay, the second got dicey I won't lie but they still had some fight and it was something noticeable to me. There was a point where I was okay with them losing because they didn't quit and just stop like in Seattle. That third period was a work of art. It was like I was watching the Canucks from before the ASG. The absolute dominance in that third was just beautiful and the big dawgs did their job, they got the goals. Same goes for OT, great stand-up to Marchand by Miller I believe early on which led to us catching the Bruins lacking, and then a beautiful set play with boeser notching his second. Though I sorta accepted the L internally in the second and wasn't too mad (idk i got calmer as a fan when I saw myself becoming like Canucks twitter and it was a bit frightening), that game was just amazing.

Home ice advantage will be everything for the boys in the playoffs, after all.

Great commentary! One subtle detail that has been missed is how did the Bruins get caught out for too many men? The answer is: Elias Pettersson. When you review the clip, you can see that he sees the change; then he swiftly and deliberately passes the puck directly to the Bruins player that just came on the ice. The timing is critical; the fresh player has to be directly involved in the play before the other player is off the ice. Superb! Few players can see this level.

I was wondering what the lines should be when Joshua comes back. I’d almost like to see him and Garland with Petey, Miller with Boeser and Mikayev and Lindholm with Hoglander and Suter. I think DiG, Lafferty and Blueger could be a good 4th line too. Just thoughts but might be interesting to see. I’d still like some more size upfront for the Canucks though.

Add some size before its too late.Think we could do this 4 out of 7.We are so close to being a contender.If you can control big teams like Boston and Phillie physically you will win every time.If you cant they will grind you up.Even the oilers are bigger and grittier since adding Perry.Why make it harder than it needs to be.A couple of big crashing wingers that like to mix it up would put us over the top.
@trubluduhu90558 ай бұрын
Zadorov and Cole, even Juulsen defensively are good solid bodies, but for forward, I look at the lineup and I just think Joshua as a heavy hitter, and even at that, idk if he's as gritty like the others. There's also Miller who likes to get greasy, but yeah a player or hell, two would definitely boost their offensive prowess more and on the defensive side of the coin, better chances to win battles and prevent them from crossing the neutral zone. I still think an upgrade from Myers would be big, like Tanev, but so long as Myers plays smart hockey, no mistakes and uses his size and reach more effectively, can be a serviceable D man in playoffs.
