This is, without a doubt one of the best videos I've ever seen on KZbin. I can't explain why... it just is. It has a soul...

Thank you for your comment. If your resources allow, I would sure appreciate your using the THANKS button under any of my videos including the one you have commented on. It is something new that KZbin is beta testing and would mean a great deal for my continuing efforts. David Hoffman filmmaker

David, I'd say that even in this brief clip, you have captured some of the feeling of the harvest. This video brings to mind some oversized sepia photos taken in 1906 that I own. My great great grandfather owned a steam tractor, and he traveled portions of Indiana and Illinois to bring in the harvest for farmers who didn't have tractors. This ancestor found a professional photographer to come out and capture the 1906 harvest as well as wood cutting with the portable sawmill the steam tractor powered. Amazing visual records of my twice great grandfather and the men who worked for him over a century ago.

Unfortunately, it is not available for sale anywhere. I can make you a DVD from my video master but it would cost you my time and energy-say $50. It is a wonderful one-hour film and I am very proud of it. David Hoffman-filmmaker
