I downloaded a mod for Assetto Corsa that represents this car and its everything that my inner child WANTS my nb1 to be, at least in the sim lol. I have a blast any time I drive it! Truly an inspiration to the Miata community

I notice youre still running the fuel filler cap bracket and cable. The NA and NB have a "backup" release trigger located on the underside of the fuel cap itself, its where the cable mounts to. You can remove the cable and use this trigger. Less mess and a minor weight saving 👌

Thanks for the tip. I thought I was pretty happy with the relatively small weight cost for the convenience of the cabin based release cable, but I will keep this in mind - does your suggestion require boot access?

I am using a TinyIOx from Jbperf. The MS3 has onboard can ports, and the TinyIOx is wired direct to those can ports.

at 3:40 , is that tire rub i hear at the 3:42 mark? or is it just from the bumps on the apex, forgot what they are called. i love this little car. it looks like a beast to drive

It is the rear wheels scrubbing on the guards. It is a pretty bumpy circuit and I swapped to a wider rim for this event which put the tyre closer to the guard.

Car overwhelms the brakes pretty easily if I really push it. I've progressively gotten it better over the years with better cooling/consumables etc. Pretty restricted under a 15" rim.

After getting my first NB with a 6 speed, I was curious what the shorter ratios would be like in a boosted engine. Looks very fun!

Keep in mind the final drive (diff) ratio does have an influence.... try adding a 4.1 or 4.3 diff in a NB with a 6spd... makes for fun!
