One example of a card being good without having any good or useable effects was megalosmasher x. Since it was a normal, lv 4, water, dinosaur. This means it was rescue rabbit target, and the lv 4 allowed for utopia plays, the water allowed cor toadally awesome, and the dinosaur allowed for the Evol xyz monsters.

Actually, it was the shark XYZ, Which is a good card on its own and allowed to access a rank 3 to swarm the field. Maybe Even summon acid golem then activate skill drain.

Reminds me of Gladiator Beast Andal being great simply cause it's a Normal GB monster. Gives GBs SO many openers thanks to the numerous normal support like Unexpected Dai and Rescue Rabbit and when you get at least 2 GBs on the board, (especially if you have Gladiator Rejection), you can do virtually anything. Really love how Normal support alone makes Normals really worth running despite how much Normals get dogged out by people who I swear think the game is just Tears mirror matches where everyone draws a perfect hand first draw and has a pre-sorted deck.
