Dragonmaids with Romulus and Dragon Revine are honestly so good together, I've been using them together with the Guardragon spell card that revives and Pisty and it's insane how much better the deck gets

Great video Sam and nice build for pure Harpies. Just some tips. You actually had an amazing first hand. You needed to summon a Harpie, Swallows Nest to a Perfumer, link off to Romulus to grab Ravine. With the Ravine effect you discard the elegant egotist. Summon the Legatus. Link to Simorgh and on end phase summon a Harpie. With Egotist in the grave yard, you can get three Harpie cards on end phase including a Feather Storm and a Duster. That would have been game against pretty much any deck.

a year ago, after the harpie synchro monster was added to duel links, it immediately shot the deck to tier 1 status. as a casual duel links player, when ever i see harpies, its nearly always an auto surrender

I get that the harpies are a pretty generic archetype but this video is remarkably similar to Seto MerzA's *Pure Harpies* deck profile video from two months ago. Seto's deck runs x3 'Maxx C' and 'Ash Blossom' where as Sam cuts those down to x2 each and elects to use a 'Tempest' and x2 'Called From The Grave' while Seto makes up the extra magic card using 'Double or Nothing'. Those are the only differences. Not saying this was intentional... as I mentioned before, the main monsters are gonna be mainly harpies but the ratios and choices of traps and spells are uncanny and has to be a spooky coincidence if this was really just dumb luck.

Love resolving feather storm. I was clapping fools in the synchro festival w this deck. In the standard build, the best play is turn 1 make simorgh while discarding sign. Follow up is perfumer, duster, storm into utopia double

Hunter owl and and lightning chidori are two no brainer for a harpie deck. I haven’t watched the whole vid so idk if you have them but two hunter owls on field and you can’t attack anything and chidori you can basically cripple them by returning to hand then returning to top of deck, if they have a light hand/board and you get one or two chidori out it’s 100% game over cause of that return to top of deck effect
