My favorite thing is food. My mom was a chef growing up so we always had the full course meals. I do the same every year. Big full meals (potatoes, stuffing, sweet potatoes, turkey, brussel sprouts, carrots, cranberry sauce, gravy). We mainly have friends over (since most of family is either out of town or passed on).

Christmas is my favorite time of the year and while I love many things about it, the songs(the good ones, the oldies), the snow, the presents, decorating the tree, my favorite part is that it seems, to me at least, that every one is a bit kinder this time of year, a bit more giving.
