I work with people who don't like cats and they can't understand how devastating it is to a person who does love cats when their cat passes away. What I can't understand is why they don't like cats. What is there not to like. I can't imagine not liking cat. my parents got me my first cat when I was 3 and I am now 48 and I love cats more than anything else in the world. I still remember my cat though it is soon to be 44 years ago. My husband is allergic to cats so now we have bunnies. I am allergic to dogs. Bunny is a nice "mix" of cats and dogs. Gives a paw for goodies and is willing to think you as a leader, use cat toilet, but has a strong will like cat. 😊 But I still am a cat-person but like all animals... except would not want to own a snake. Lisard we had for years when my son was a child and hamsters too.

My Mom was blessed to have a cat like this who passed at age 18. I use to just marvel at his complete devotion to her, staring into her face for hours as he lay on her chest. I showed her this video and she was so tickled and touched. Rest in peace Tiggy.

I had my first cat for 20 yrs. I was her everything. She would sit in the window in the front of the house when I left for work. She would be there when I got home. She slept on my pillow for the whole 20 years. No tiny hineys allowed on the pillow though. I've got her ashes. I've got her brother's ashes. I've got photos of them all over. And I was a dog lover when I got these kittens. Now I'm just the plain old critter lover. I miss my girl everyday though. I honor her by taking care of the seven strays that have found their way to me. I have three that are inside. They're all unique and have their own personalities. But they all like their loving.

Sorry that I have intervene: it's a special type of character - I already had 10 different types of cats directly or in my nearest surrounding and than "adopted" a spanish couple of former streetcats. One of them is a real "cosy monster"; as soon as I broke up his sceptial attitude against us on the second day he "hung on my neck" and never left again until today. Animals feel when someone is honest and lovely from the ground ❤

She complained about her hand getting tired / sore, which I understood and just resorted to lying my head down on her lap but I really needed that and I was very thankful for her efforts to meet my needs and to just allow me to be close, knowing her obvious inconvenience that I caused and how she still allowed it to a certain extent. Hug your kitty whenever they ask. They’re only here for a short time. Our beautiful 18 year old Norwegian Forest Cat passed away last week. We took him in as a rescue cat at age 12 when the neighbors abandoned him when they moved. His personality filled up the room and he acted like someone grumpy old grandpa. I’ll never regret giving him the best retirement years a cat could have, and I don’t think I could have hugged him more (he was very independent). 😢💔

Affection from animals is truly free! Humans too often hug you with a hidden agenda or as a temporary game - only to withdraw it later to use as control tactic. Never say no. It'll be one of the best feelings you ever had, so do not reject it. You'll regret it. I was once had these cats that love me so much and even tho they're not hugging me, but just me gently caressing their soft and silky smooth furs (not to mention also hearing their purrs), is enough to induce this kind of blissful feelings of joy.. Like having an old friend that will always be by your side.. And it absolutely breaks my heart when they're all passed away one after another one day bc of unknown reasons. I still think that they are one of the nicest gifts life has given to me. I won't forget the love they gave me.. So, accept their kindness before it's gone. You won't regret it. Cats are an absolutely amazing creature when they've selected you as someone who is worthy for their love.

When cats start loving you they can never get enough of you. Mine would not allow me to go to even the next room & wants me to stay in the same room where he is comfortable lest I get into some trouble! He gets anxious for my safety when I go out of his sight when at home. He always knows when someone will get sick & sits near them & watches over them & that's how I found one of my dog was going to have a health trouble. God knows how he understands when I talk & comes & goes & climbs up the bed when I ask him where is his mom? He always replies when I talk to him. He is my first cat & he has set the standards too high for me to even think about any other cat. Having a good time with my cat gentleman at home who will never harm a bird or a fish. This sweet little one in the video is a pure joy to be around.
