Yeah, you react 100% to the music, which is why the video content you were warned about, but choose not to read said warning about, influenced your expectations. You LITERALLY SAID that the video made you expect s horror-esque sound and that that disappointed you. We have eyes and ears.

I hope you guys are still reading these comments. This is what happens when you choose a random video and know absolutely NOTHING about the artist or their music. Please do your research about Christian Yu aks DPR Ian. I clicked to see your reaction. I heard you say you were disappointed because it wasn't what you expected. When reacting to videos you should be open-minded and NOT have expectations so that the artist is able to take you on a journey. I will be honest, seeing this reaction was four months ago to the moment I am writing this comment disappointed me in both of you. You obviously care nothing about the people who commented here. What is the point of wanting us to watch your reactions and ask us to tell you what videos we want you to react to? Shut down your channel or stop asking us to watch or suggest anything. Truly disappointed. I tried to give you a chance. I figured maybe you'd looked up his other work but no. Christian, writes and comproses his own music. He directs his videos and other artists videos (look up his work), he also edits his videos. ALL his videos are connected. The "characters " in his videos tell a story so do the lyrics. To watch only ONE and stop at ONE defeats the purpose of his magnificent work. We sirs watch videos while they CREATE. As "watcher" we should appreciate those that create. I hope you actually read my comment although it's long. I really hope you come back to DPR Ian and the rest of the DPR Label. Yes, Christian stated his own label so that he can do anything he wants to do. And his does it well. I will keep an eye on your channel in hopes you do better. I mean no disrespect but I'm really hoping you return to DPR Ian. Also, don't just react to random MVs. Invest time in the Artists and learn about them and their journey. If you do that you'd have more views and more people interested in what you have to say. You don't really seem to care about the quality of what you bring. I hope you improve on this.

Did you guys read my deep comment on it in Patreon? I explained what it is going on. He has bipolar and DID. The black and white is MITO, his presence when he’s in his bipolar lows. He blacks out. The deeper voice is MITO. The artists name is Christian Yu. This video is a representation of him coming out his low MITO state and back into Christian. Knowing his back story is really important when watching his videos. 😊

I read it, I Cant speak on the others.. but as always We really do not need/want any back stories until after we react. We enjoy going in completely "BLIND" but it was not the story that threw us off, But the type of vibe =)

I feel like you guys should do at least a little research when you react to new artists. It is very important especially for DPR Ian, because his music and music videos represents not only who he is, but his struggles with bipolar and DID! I hope you guys continue reacting to him, because he is a music genius, he's just phenomenal! And pls do make some research! His music videos will be confusing until you understand his story. His real life. Which is he has bipolar 1 and DID. he has personalities that are inside him and Christian is the vessel. Hopefully that makes sense. It’s best to watch his mvs in order and I can def tell the requester knows that. Because this is the video to start with. No blueberries follows this video. Christian does pretty much everything. He directs writes produces composes. He’s the co founder of his Label DPR. You say the letters and Ian you say it with an e. Like ein. Or his actual name which is Christian. He’s a music genius. He’s not just a singer to me. He’s a full out artist. And everything he does and writes about is from his real life. When you see him in black and white with one white eye that is one of his alters called Mito. U hope you guys continue to react to him and discover him more.

So I just wanted to clear up some misconceptions within this. Ian doesn't have personalities. He has alters. The body is the vessel because alters would be switching control of the body. Saying that Christian is the vessel would unintentionally imply possession and that is not the case. Because Christian is the one in control majority of the times, he is known as the host. Sometimes the host can be the earliest identity or one of the alters who was delegated that responsibility or who naturally just fell into the role. So that's just what I wanted to point out. Everything else is basically ok.

Yes it would have been nice if who ever requested this gave you some info - it's a big story so I'll leave that for someone else to tell you on here BUT rest assured you will love this man, his music, his story and his creativity when he makes these MVs. I requested and gave them the backstory. I told them it was VERY important for them to understand him and his disorders before viewing. I don’t request anything without a massive backstory/understand it before they go in.

Dpr Ians personal life plays an integral role in all his music so with him, you have to add in his backstory for this and his other amazing music videos for it to make sense. He’s experimental with his sound but for artistry alone, I would say check out his other videos.

His music videos are connected and tell the story of his life with bipolar disorder and disassoiative identity disorder (sometimes known as split personality syndrome) there are 3 main characters in his music videos: MITO ( his depressive state), Christian or Ian (himself), and Mr. Insanity (his manic state) and it’s pretty obvious when they switch from one to the other, although not all characters appear in every music video (song). Previously he was a Kpop music video editor (although he is Australian) and now he still edits all of his own music videos.

@@StayingOffTopicI always watch your reactions. Thank you for being polite and of course you can’t make everyone happy. I used to do reaction videos as well before my trauma and a traumatic brain injury finally made my mind split. I saw people write that they wrote you guys about DPR Ians Disorders. So with my own issues of dissociative Identity disorder (DID) and dissociative disorder/manic episodes, I felt like I was being laughed at when you guys were laughing. I’ve been going in and out trying to be clear minded for the past four days. Please don’t take offense to anything I wrote. Going through this causes me a lot of confusion and memory loss. Believe me, I’ve found videos and comments I’ve made a year ago and have zero memory. And it only has to do with reactions of these disorders. I always watch this channel and still will. I’m sorry for my comment… honestly… sometimes it’s like being a fly on the wall, watching yourself. Dissociation is the scariest thing… I do hope you guys learn about this artist more, I’d love to see it. I paint and draw when I dissociate and it gives me room to breathe. Ian’s art and issues are exactly what I’m going through every day and that’s why he is a big inspiration at least to me.

There are times where a blind reaction is not the best course of action, and this one, where they were warned that his work is tied heavily to mental health diagnoses and were told that background knowledge is paramount to understanding his videos..... this was one of those times. They were confused because they ignored someone who is literally paying them to not ignore her.
