But paladins basically copied overwatch a year after it realease. most of the aspects of overwatch like escort the payload and defend point were all taken from overwatch. So you cant say paladins is that original or different. The only difference I see is including horses, making them third person, and overwatch is just the superior game with its mechanics and originally overall.

You'd think this was imbalanced, but it's actually in line with what other ults do. Drogoz literally one shots anyone with his ult, and Torvald can delete a whole team by pushing them off the cliff with his "Imma firin mah lazer" ult.

Unknown Error Khan's ult also leaves him vulnerable, does nothing when there's no hazards and/or if the team does not respond. Drogoz has a windup, and Torv's ult is really only good on Frog Isle, and even then resilience counters it and he is still vulnerable. It's a fine, balanced ult. There are better ones too (Pip, Seris)

SomeDude96 Because in paladins, not all ults can deal a lot of dmg.. Only like ruckus, or others without a guarantee to kill.. When there is a kill guarantee, it wont be balance. On the other hand, in overwatch, MOST ults have the team wipe potential and most of the support ults give a great protection to allies which can compensate with the "team-wipe-potential" ults.. So its balanced.. So dont judge the balance of the heroes in the game with heroes in the other games, but judge them with the other heroes in the same game

For example: Khan's ult can be countered by an item called Resilience which reduces the distance of the blast, or you and your team can shoot down Khan while he's grabbing your ally, or you can use your CC cleansing ability (e.g Nine Lives) or movement ability after being blasted (e.g Pounce).

well as far as i can see the ultimate can be used like what? 2 times per round? It's an instakill with enviromental hazards and it will only target one person. When thinking about overwatch every dps ultimate has the potential to kill the whole team.

Desgaroth you dont really have to throw a captured enemy, you can grab an enemy with your ULT and let a teammate kill (if theres no ledge or side of cliffs to throw) and also theres an item that counters CC in this game

A little fun story with Khan, one game i don't remember the name of the map, (the stile of the buildings is like in serpent beach, and there is a room with one wall missing and a cliff behind the wall, just by the capture place) and i had ult with Khan, and wanted to grab someone and throw him off the cliff (i need to pass through a little doorway and then there is the room without a wall) and i used my ult on Inara, but apparently a split second before grabbing her, she managed to put up a wall in the doorway. When that happened, i panicked and i started screaming"REMOVE THE WALL" i had no idea what to do, so i carried on screaming the same thing over and over again. And than, exactly at the moment her wall disappeared my ult ended and i launched her off the cliff. That was solo bloody perfect.

Idk, khan was a pretty underwhelming release tbh. Everyone I've talked to says he's not that fun to play and he's also kinda weak. They already buffed him but he might still need some minor buffs. Also, think about how many people you can kill with a reaper, mcree, phara, genji, Tracer, etc ult. Khan's ult only kills 1 person if near a ledge, and it can be easily stopped by killing Khan first, getting a form of CC immunity, or using instant mobility abilities while in the air.

khans ult also makes him a target and any good team will focus fire him when they hear YOU'RE MINE Also if you buy the item resillience then his ult is basically useless because it only lasts 2 seconds and the throw isn't very far. Also if a teammate goes in front of you then you stop there.

Oh wow, so Overwatch finally tuned down ults, added additional sources of healing, increased the TTK, removed headshots from projectiles, gave every hero the ability to negate healing (meaning you don't need to focus fire healers anymore) and added hero customisation. I think I might reinstall and give it another go, thanks Jeff, took you fucking long enough. Oh wait...

Khan is actuslly weak, when he does that ult a good team will try to shoot him down because he is vulnerable while he is in ult stance, ash can actually counter khan if that ash select a cc imune ability this way khan can't ult.

Hes not weak, Ive been main tanking him for a while and with a team with common sense Khan can maintain an objective secure on his own without his teamates, so long as the healer does the job well, I managed to 1v3 and got out alive atleast most of the time i did but Khan is pretty good, you just need to play a bit aggressive with him

khan's power isn't even in his ult. it's in firing line which can completely negate the usage of characters like inara who are semi-in meta right now. also you got people like bomb king and others who rely on cc. basically anything with cc reliance in it is completely countered by khan. also, ash isn't even in the meta at all. ash is a really weak tank overall and just a bad tank.
