It’s like the fan base forgot the rangers just won the presidents trophy and we essentially have the same team if not a little better because smith is def better than most of the Mika Kreider RWs they had last year and the bottom 6 will be fine imo with guys like berard and Othmann cuylle chytil Edstrom rempe vesey Carrick at least for the reg season and the D is pretty much the same which isn’t ideal but they’ll figure something out by the time playoffs start there’s not much Drury can do with the Trouba money being kept on the books but I still expect a pretty solid season from this team fans are just butt hurt about not signing a big free agent to a very overpaid and too long term contract which honestly would’ve been very stupid cuz these are the same people who want to keep Igor Laff and miller
