As a 20 year old I met Corrie ten Boom at a camp inGeorgia, USA. I heard her share her story for 3 days. I am 74 now and still remember what an honor for me to be taught by her.

I know this woman’s story well and watch some of her old video teachings and interviews. When I am upset about something I hear her gentle, peaceful voice so filled with the love of God and it calms my heart. Her life experiences also remind me to be grateful and not complain or worry over trivial things.

Corrie tenBoom's testimony shared at the end of The Hiding Place is the reason I gave my heart to Jesus. Though we have not yet met - she was a major influence in my life. Thank you for this marvelous performance!

Thank you Corrie. ❤ I still remember you as if I just held your hand, but never knew how much your story would be so important for me to hear. Yet, our Beloved Yeshua truly never sleeps nor slumber and I pray that He grants me to become a light as well. Blessed be our Father.

Incredible hearts that Corrie and her sister had, and this love and forgiveness towards others only comes through Jesus. The forgiveness Corrie’s sister showed the guards is beyond human understanding, yet through Jesus living in us, all of these things become possible and we can be set free from the pain and captivity of harm to us from others, and forgiven also for our own wrongdoings. Thank you Lord Jesus that You alone are the way, the truth and the life! May everything that has breath now and forever find You as their Lord and Saviour, forgiver of all sins, renewer of our hearts and minds. We love You Lord! Amen

What hit me was Betsy! She thanked God for lice. Those things were used by God!!! WOW! THATS OUR LORD!!! And Betsy said they could be taught to love if they could be taught to hate. And Casper! I've loved that name since first reading this.

I think this woman spoke at every US church in the 70s, big and small.

I was listening to this and it was powerful. But I started thinking why Betsy died and Corrie Lived through this. Betty was obviously more faithful at this time or at least more older and the faith. But she was sickly and maybe she wouldn’t been able to communicate as well as her sister in any event it was an amazing story now they’re all reunited with our Lord

It’s sad that her life was so different than how things are today. I never knew a loving Christian family. We had material things. But the love wasn’t there. Most of my siblings hate each other.

The Bible says we will go together. IThess 4: 16-18 King James Version 16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: 17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. 18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

I believe I will see my furbabies who have died in the new earth. I know it's a topic that we Christians don't really know how to handle but I'm wondering if we're a little bit on the anthropocentric side.
@leenieledejo6849 Жыл бұрын
We're on the BIBLICAL side. (At least true Christians are). Only human beings are made in the image of God (it says in Genesis). Jesus did not suffer and die to save pets. It's blasphemous to suggest so and anti-Biblical. It takes humility to accept the Truth of the Bible when it doesn't correspond with what "we" want. It's the first step to becoming a born again Christian (the only kind: John 1:12-13).

This can't be Corrie, she died in 1983.... the video quality is modern and she's next to an Ark Encounter ad, which opened in 2016..

It is a portrayal of Corrie ten Boom. As you said Corrie went to be with the Lord in 1983. I consider it a privilege to keep her testimony alive today. At the end of the video it talks about Corrie death.
