I was so hoping that you got your hands on the Turbomount to test. Maybe Z-Cam can let you borrow for a follow up??? For $299 the Turbomount is less than half the cost of a metabones but with a much better mount. So excited about this.

I am really starting to consider the E2-M4 / speedbooster EF mount / Canon lenses combo as my next camera. I like to shoot in studio with minimal lighting and this seems like a good combo to get great results for cheap.

Great video! Excited for the turbobooster but if I have an s6 + mft mount (on the way) as well as a metabones speedbooster will it be redundant to buy it? (I have both mft and canon glass.) Thanks man.

I guess we'll have to wait and see if the glass on the turbo mount will hold its own against metabones. If the turbo mount is wildly better, then it may be worth selling your metabones for the z cam version. For now, I think you can stick to the MFT mount and a metabones!

Do you get any vigneting when you use MFT mount with 0,71x speedbooster on S6? Shouldn't speedbooster project only MFT image circle on the sensor??

No sir, it does not cause vignetting from the mount itself. As long as the taking lens covers the sensor, then you're good to go. If that weren't the case, then my Leica clips speedboosted would vignette.

Great content, very informative, thanks. Your comments at 0:42: "For the S6, your could buy the MFT mount, then use a Speedbooster on it, back to EF." Can I clarify something with you? Going that route (MFT adapter + Speedbooster), would mean that my existing EF glass, would still get the true 0.71x benefit? So, a Sigma 50mm for example, which is 77mm FF equivalent of because of the 1.54x crop of the S6, would become a 54mm FF equivalent (50 x 1.54 (S6 crop factor) x 0.71 (Speedbooster). Is that your experience/understanding? Also, do you still believe that approach is better than using the Turbo Mount on the S6? Thanks again!

if you use a MFT mount cause is cheaper, is not the same as get a Zcam e2 with MFT sensor, is a cheaper camera and its pretty the same quality with a bigger sensor. thanx a lot

@@Lance_Lao it depends on what lenses your using. I use vintage Nikon lenses. The 24mm & 35mm has slight vignette when stopping down the aperture but than that it isn’t really noticeable and that’s mainly in C6K 2:4:1 mode open gate mode there is a lot of vignetting
