They met in Boston for the first time. Fans spotted Babymetal and the rumor about a potential collab or feature existed on reddit for some time. In early May, Electric Callboy spoiled this collaboration and said they already composed a killer track for this collab and that's a collab with a band that is not from Germany and who can dance a lot better than they do.

Thanks from Japan 有難う💛. (BABYMETAL will return to USA and go on tour from Nov. thru Dec. to perform 18 concerts at 15 venues. It includes two shows in your city, NY.) I fortunately witnessed the live debut and the second performance of RATATATA by BABYMETAL and Electric Callboy together in the two-day Fox_Fest on May 25 / 26 in Japan. Fun, happy, exhilarating, bubbly... Those words I could think of, as you can imagine. There were many mosh / circle pits over there 😄. On Day-1, the girls and Nico / Kevin hugged each other (then group hug) to celebrate the success of the live debut (heartwarming!!) ★ You can find the official LIVE video in KZbin !! The song was played in the BABYMETAL's setlist in the festival. So the band in the back of the girls and Nico / Kevin was BM's West Kami Band in place of EC band that played in this MV. On this 50:50 collaboration basis, that was great, too. The interchangeability between the two versatile bands is good. Now the 3 girls and 2 boys are doing this song with EC band in EC shows and with Kami Band in BM shows, in two ways, in some European festivals 💛。

Welcome back. BABYMETAL were wanting to make a song in the Electric Callboy style that people in the audience could dance to. They were both playing in Boston last year so BABYMETAL went to the Electric Callboy concert and met with them backstage and asked if they wanted to be part of it. The result (after a lot of back and forth between both bands and something like 20 versions) they ended up with this awesome 50-50 collaboration. BABYMETAL invited EC to play at the Fox_Fest events they were planning in Tokyo and after playing their own set Nico and Kevin came back to join BABYMETAL on stage during their set to perform this song live together. They did it again on the second night. It was there that the official live video was filmed ... and yes do another reaction to that. They have performed it at more festivals in Europe since then (together 4 times in Germany in both the EC and BABYMETAL sets and I believe they did it two more times yesterday or the day before in Spain) and both bands have been playing it without the other in their own concerts. Another band BABYMETAL invited to play at FoxFest was Polyphia from Texas and they performed their song 'Brand New Day' with the Polyphia guitarists Tim Henson and Scott LePage for the first time since it was recorded in 2019 - Tim and Scott recorded the original guitar tracks for the album recording. You have so much more BABYMETAL to discover ... and every song is different to the last. They are so versatile that they can collaborate with pretty much anybody else and fit in with whatever style.

Nice one👊🏽⚡️They both work very good together. I hope the do more together. Babymetal has a great song called, “Metali” featuring Tom Morello (Rage against the machine guitarist). For Electric Callboy you should definitely check out their breakout hit, (Hypa hypa)..🦊🤘🏾

If you see comments talking about how cool was one of the singers turning around at the end, that's a reference to a video reaction they did last week. But the one who really looks cool are oc the ladies striking a pose near the end which is also the pose they used when performing live right from the beginning.💃 Last weekend of May they played this song at FOX_FEST Festival in Japan along with Electric Callboy, everyone went bonkers with this awesome collab of the year and hit of this summer. They also released the official live if you don't wanna stop and keep pushing it to the limit. They also played together once again at Rock Im Park in Germany twice, one during EC show and the other one during BM show wearing cool new outfits. After that they played again at Rock Am Ring and we already got cool proshot clips. Yesterday they finished the Europe Tour and once again with both groups playing this song twice at Resurrection Fest in Spain making everyone going wild. Polyphia were also at FOX_FEST playing a set and the guitarists Tim Henson and Scott Le Page played together with BM the song Brand New Day, they're special guest in the album version, they were looking for this since a very long time ago and also fans waited for this. Yes, itcwas a collab that most people had not expected. I was sure, if they want to do this they will find a way but where and how I expected Vabymetals new lichter style would help but i would have not expected that they go so deep into it. But I think this the sense of these collabs, they want to get the Flair of the other Babd and add their own Touch to it.

Electric Callboy is first and formost a metalcore band. They're not "techno and EDM". They're metal plus EDM and/or something else, like rap for example. You make them sound like they're just some DJs or MCs. lol
