On the middle gathering chains new Deere corn heads have the gathering chains backwards so your hooks are more agressive to pull in the material. You guys should flip around your middle row chains and try it .night make a difference

I think the x9 needs to have atleast a 16 row to run at its potential.

You need a Stellar Fuel trailer that has tanks for diesel, DEF, air compressor and tool storage......

You say deep tillage wasn’t a benefit, when is the last time you ran a mold board plow through corn to be planted on ground? Be cool to see a few rounds test plot with one.

After watching Border View Farms running the 2025 model, (not available until spring) I'm betting that if the markets continue as they are, Dad might be looking again.

The first two trials you highlighted showed no discernible difference, the third didn't pay for itself. That said, do you continue to monitor those particular trials over the next 2 or 3 years on the off-chance it could show results in the future?

It may be knowledge bias, but I think I see 'some' advantage on the deep rip. The spot's it's most apparent is in the end row corner at the bottom and directly across from the 'farm house' near the top. The bottom could be variability from it being an end row. But I swear I see a 173->189 color difference along the path were the ripper went near the top... Just my $.02 EDIT: I just got to the point where you were talking about the pass application and that seems to be what I saw combined with the deep tillage...

i did min tillage in the spring for a farm for better part of 20 years and i do not see how you guys do it with all prices doing what they are prices going in and the piss poor pices here in the fall coming in as for corn with the new stacked seed out there and the over all plant health for the better part i feel like you really need to do some kind of fall tillage to get better dirt contact with the trash to break it down but not so sure if i am right in saying that what is your thoughts

Why don’t you calibrate your combine? I understand you run the data through the grain cart. But wouldn’t having the combine calibrated help even more?

The dirt and farming world need an easier, safer way to buy equipment that works for their operation and get delivered straight to the farm with no worries (like Amazon!). ✌ 🚜 🙏
