after i installed cbf my wave skill increased drastically since it was so much more precise and i was able to beat my first hard demon, nine circles

Doggie got 27% on grief, with click between frames I think click between frames is simply an early access mod which you can play with click between frames early, I think it will be inevitably added in the future, 2.21 perhaps. I think most top players use click between frames most of the time and click between frames isn’t really useful or has a noticeable different unless you are playing levels like slaughterhouse. So I think click between frames should be allowed in the community, top players SHOULD NOT get crap from the community because they want the game to play better. In conclusion, I think that click between frames should be allowed, especially if you are the playing levels with extreme timings like grief.

@FecalPuffs so basically 🤓, on 60 fps you have 60 frames to click on, so the max is 60 clicks in 1 second, and 144 is the same but with 144 clicks. Click between frames makes it have no cool down and you can click whenever you want

Its truly mostly up to Robtop if this should be apart of the game, my opinion on it is that cbf is a good thing to a certain extent to fix issues with the competition between people that cant run the game at the same level as other people with higher end pc's, making it fair for someone who can run at 60 fps and some one at 240 or 360 fps.

@@splaceokI don’t remember a time where speedhack and noclip were allowed on the demonlist. Maybe sometime in the future with the way mods are being handled rn. FPS bypass was allowed so you didn’t have to fork over hundreds of dollars for an expensive monitor that ran at 360Hz. CBF modifies the game for no reason other than “it’s cool cause the game is easier now”. If EVERYONE had it, it would be great. But not everyone does, so it’s cheating.

The way it works is that it divides a frame into 2 smaller frames and registers the click in those smaller frames.

Honestly i dont find this much different than when they allowed for higher fps which locked a lot of the levels behind a paywalls. Like this is free and much more accessible i think it was a fine decision. Although i think we shouldn't have things happen where gameplay when it becomes purly dependant on cbf. Or basically making levels with jumps impossible without cbs. Should have them possible in vanilla too. Edit: changed good decision to fine decision

I don't think cbf vs non-cbf completions should have the same value, but I still think cbf is a fun way to test out the top players (tidal wave but a tiny bit easier is still tidal wave). The best way to balance things out in my opinion is to tag "cbf" completions and differentiate them from "non-cbf" ones, so the players who worked harder for the frame perfect clicks get maybe more recognised, plus we don't remove a fun mod for the other top players, who get also recognised from still beating top extreme demons

I def support it but I think its a good idea to wait to use it. Like when the average player gets into harder territory, like higher list demons that’s going to help you get through it better almost like an instant skill boost. Kinda like 2.1 when people switch from 60hz to 360hz and just become gods. ​@@TheElderWerelionwolfthat's an interesting question. but i think the demonlist forgot to mention something. they said Completions with cbf are allowed, but they never said verifications. and robtop unrated an extreme demon before for being verified with cbf. so i think only COMPLETIONS with cbf are allowed by the demonlist, NOT VERIFICATIONS. and even then, ain't no one beating something like tidal wave on mobile lol. but yeah i understand the concern. i think cbf should just be officially added to the game completely. as for mobile players, again you ain't ever beating a top 1 on mobile, and i think mobile devices already have lower input detection rate than most computer mice. so i wouldn't really worry about that. i think it might be possible to get cbf working on mobile devices.
