this will be another 5-3 or 5-4 game - patty will make alot of mistakes. Canucks will be lucky to win however, if i was the Oilers coach going the ways of history has proven time and time again ur asking 4 failure , go w Pickard at least you were playing hockey at a much more comfortable level.

I was at game 5. Pick stood on his head for 40 straight mins. BUT there was a play in the second period where Pick was coming across to face a shot and he kinda slipped and went back on his knee. It took him a second to get up. At the time, I thought it easily could’ve been a knee sprain which might not have stiffened up until after the game. Sometimes you can just tweak something, finish the game just fine because you’re warm but wake up tomorrow unable to straighten your knee.

I have cautious optimism on the game tonight with Skinner in net. Before I thought the Oilers would win game six since they'd be playing desperate hockey but now I think the Canucks have a better chance of ending it tonight. I hope the Canucks pepper him with shots and score a lot rather than taking him lightly. Skinner is an NHL goalie for a reason and even "bad" NHL players can have a good game.

You do know they're playing against the CANUCKS right. From non bias position I believe the Canucks have a better chance at winning the cup then oilers as they're built bigger n more balanced like Canucks teams defense overall is much better. With that said I don't think either teams beating Dallas. Dallas in 6 vs Canucks n 5 against oilers is my bet.

To be in the minds of Oilers management, they have to ride Skinner cause win or lose he is their no.1 goaltender. If they don't ride him, if they lose what are they going to do next year. They'll be in the same position as they were with Campbell. A goalie under contract for a few years & the organization has no faith in him for an elimination game.

Classic Ken Holland. The Oil has priority need for a goalie since...like...forever. But he goes out and gets the washed up Corey Perry and locker room cancer Evander Kane. Granted, Kane is a good player but a horrible teammate and a team distraction everywhere he's been. The Wings instantly got better when Holland "left." Holland took credit for the moves Jim Nill made when with the Wings. When Nill left for Dallas, Holland suddenly became a poor performing GM. Imagine that. Go Canucks!!!
