Love the shout-out to Necrit even if you aren't aware he's been coving league of legends lore for a long time feels like an OG in the league lore game. That's of course a total aside from the show Arcane but just glad to hear his name mentioned as he seems like a genuinely good guy.

@@Awake_Productions only the intro song "imagine dragons - enemy" is copyrighted cuz Riot doesn't own the rights for that song, Imagine dragons do, the rest of the songs/soundtrack shouldn't be copyrighted cuz Riot owns those songs and I repeat SHOULDN'T on paper cuz that's been their policy/philosophy in general for a decade+ for all league of legends content even beyond arcane, unlikely but I could see a small possibility of some contracts with the song artists taking place for arcane s2 specifically that forced their hand into changing their copyrights policy for it, but if it was up to Riot they wouldn't claim anything, they are happy to see people react to their stuff.

One line really stands out to me in this episode on reflection: The chembaron mentions that topside outnumbers the people of the undercity 4 to 1 - but in season 1, episode 2, Sevika said they "have the numbers" to beat topside. Meaning in the intervening years, since losing Vander, there's been a drastic population drop in the undercity - which also goes a long way to explaining how child labor has become an integral (and necessary) part of Zaun's workforce.

It's not the notebook she's pointing at but the blueprints of the weapons. Jayce and viktor has an ethos against building weapons but then he wakes up. Not only did viktor finds out that he did not uphold his promise to break the hexcore but he also build more weapons

Great reaction, as always. One thing of note: when Jinx says she intends to finish what’s left of her family, she isn’t just talking about Vi. She includes herself in that. It’s an important distinction for her current state of mind.

Just a bit of a perspective here, no one in this show is ever so simple. Evil actions are never so simple that it originates in pure malice. The line between heroes and villains does not exist so simply. Grey areas, conflicting ideologies, and interest.

the gas is 'the grey', the toxic industrial gases from the undercity of Zaun. Cait's family helped build the ventilation systems that can control the flow of it, that's what she looked at using the key in the first episode.
