But if the child will be a package in a bed through his whole life, and the parents go through life constantly complaining and neglecting their other kids because of the seriously brain-damaged baby they absolutely wanted, then I think the parents should be sued for bringing a totally handicapped child to this world. In this case though, the little boy looks quite healthy and thriving and capable of enjoying life despite a bad start.

Educate yourselves, learn what becoming pregnant looks like, know how your body works, understand what ovulation is, and as soon as you are able, go to the doctor and get a clear picture of any fertility issues you may be up against. Fibroids were most likely the cause of my three miscarriages. Knowing sooner would have saved us a lot of time and heartache; I could have been a 30-something mom instead of a mother over 40.” - Fortyhood: Why You're Too Old to Have a Baby After 40 The reality is, motherhood is, while blissful, downright scary and beyond overwhelming -- especially after 40. www.huffpost.com/entry/why-youre-too-old-to-have-a-baby-after-40_b_4339322

These people renew my faith in humanity. I can’t tell you how much it means to even have the smallest little bit of kindness in those moments. My youngest daughter was a micropreemie and was the sickest in the NICU. I remember one day coming in to be with her (which was daily until my husband dragged me home. I almost died 3 times with her birth), and the nurses had put a beautiful little bow in her hair. This tiny act of kindness made me burst into tears. I was so grateful because it made me feel like they saw the precious little girl that I was fighting for, and not just a patient. It sounds silly, but when you are in constant fight mode and high alert, just willing your child to heal and LIVE, you kind of lose your humanity. You forget that you are a person. A bow…toiletries, snacks that the Angelic NICU nurses would bring me because I refused to leave her side, all of these acts of kindness and compassion mean the world to the parents who are struggling to remember to breathe and put on foot in front of the other. They are truly Angels sent here to show us all how we are meant to treat one another. May they and their family always be blessed with Love, Health, and Prosperity. 💖🙏🏼💖

Oh, my goodness... Ya'll just gone and made me cry.. Omg. I love you, Kelly. I have a son who is 12 years old. They are fighters both emotionally and physically. My son was never in NICU but later on in his life at the age of almost 11 years old, He was diagnosed with T-Cell Leukemia. He fought it and won. He had been in ICU several times.. Bad days.. good days. My cousin adopted him when he was much younger because I wanted to give him a better life than I could ever given him. It is the best decision I ever made but I do have my good days and bad days, missing him alot. He is my mini me through and through. To see a child in the ICU.. in the NICU... It hurts. It is stressful beyond means. Thank you for bring this cause to light. Thank you for showing just what makes us human. It is why I love you and your show. Thank you, Ms. Kelly for all you have done and did. You always make my mornings way better. Give my love to your family.

It's good he was adopted by someone in your family so you can keep him within the clan. That was a selfless sacrifice, and hoping you get to see him often and have a continuing bond. Wishing health and happiness for you both!

As a 62 yo mom of a perfect 25 yo son born miraculously after 9 miscarriages & 6 fertility specialists, I can voucher for "God working in mysterious ways, with signs and wonders, His miracles to unfold"!!! The downvotes have no hearts, souls, friends or family with fertility problems, and I hope they have no kids or they couldn't do evil downvotes ☹️

Right when the segment was over I noticed I got cramps in my jaw, and then I realized I was smiling throughout the whole segment. What a beautiful story, never loose hope in God's promises. My mom was not supposed to have kids according to the doctors, well I have one older brother and younger sister🤷♀️!

God bless them 🥺❤️ What a beautiful family! My mom had trouble carrying a pregnancy full term and so my older brother was born at 6 months, but he didn't make it, and I was born at 7 months and mom told me the doc yelled in the delivery room and said "This girl has to live!!" and I did by the grace of God. My point is, God works all things for good for those who love Him. Hallelujah! PS: I love Kelly! She's so humble and down to earth. 😊
