Is that voluntary death or assisted? My statement was, how do THEY know the parents weren’t going to get better. What’s wrong with waiting a little while? God could have turned their situation around! It appears as if no one cares enough about seniors, and the ONLY option is to PULL THE PLUG! I’m offended by the video because I’ve seen this up close and personal with loved ones. I’ve seen seniors taken off of ventilators the minute they were actually improving. I never suggested no one was dying outside of the hospital. I responded to THIS VIDEO ONLY, which the events took place INSIDE THE HOSPITAL! I lost my mom 6 months ago and I am also glad she didn't have to go through this she was immunocompromised and we were always worried she would catch something so she had to protect herself all the time especially since she was constantly going to doctor appointments or the ER and I can't imagine her being in hospital sick and us not being able to visit her and be with her. What a sad and most unexpected loss. I am living in the Epicenter of the virus in Italy and what we have gone through in the past weeks is beyond belief. Military convoys loaded with coffins leaving Cremona for Bologna and other cities as the crematoriums and cemeteries are full up. Images of priests sprinkling holy water over endless rows of coffins in churches as funerals have been banned. People who are sick get whisked away to the Intensive Care Units in hospitals and so many die alone never to see their loved ones again. This, and much, much worse. I understood the motivation for your appeal on social media. Today with a little bit of sun a lot of people even after all this tragedy were seen out and fined by the police. If your video or this message could make one person even rethink their actions it will be worthwhile. Please accept my deepest sympathy. Your story was very touching and I think it was so nice that they passed on "together." When the worst of the hurt and maybe anger at what happened is over...remember all the good times. They seemed a wonderful couple and wonderful parents.

I am from sri lanka and tiny island situated in the Indian ocean and called as the Perl of the Indian ocean. .and first I want to give my deepest condolence to this amazing couple which died recently due to corona virus pandemic. As a a sri lankan Buddhist citizen i pray for them and wish both of them may attain supreme nirvana. And must say one thing that is though my country is a very small country compair to the mighty United States of America and still a developing Asian country ( at this point i m not using the word of third world country or nation ) I'm really really proud of my country mostly free health care system as well as free education system etc our culture history ethics civilization etc as well as our indigenous traditional medical treatments etc .and i also very proud of my nations current government led by his excellency president Mr Gotabaya rajapaksha and his one of eldest brother and current prime minister and former president Mr Mahinda rajapaksha and his care taking government as well as sri lankans tri forces along with police and our all health care workers etc both western and traditional medics etc so as sri lankans we all must thankful and greatfull to all those people that I have mentioned above ..

I lost both of my parents a month apart in 2012 and I know the agony he is going through. Thank you for educating and encouraging others at a time when your heart is broken. My brother passed unexpectedly last week and we are also going to do a virtual funeral. Not being able to have a proper funeral is so hard, but necessary. My heart goes out to everyone who had to wave goodbye to their loved one in the hospital parking lot and wasn’t able to sit with them, hold their hand, and wipe their brow. 💔
