I know easier said than done, but she's always with you. Live for her, smile for her, and spread the joy she spread to so many. As long as you have memories, she will always be with you. My dad passed away from complications from dialysis 2 months ago and one of the complication was a brain bleed that came out of nowhere. He was a kidney transplant recipient 12 years ago. This hits hard for me. If you ever get a headache that is the worst you have ever experienced please go to the ER, do not try to sleep it off. If you ever feel bad in any way, don’t try to sleep it off. Give it at least a few hours because once you fall asleep then no one will be able to help you unless they check up on you which can be hours later.

Organ donation is the greatest gift that anyone can give, in passing or even in life. I am so grateful to her parents for making that difficult choice because I know firsthand what it's like to wait on the transplant list. My daughter became a living liver recipient at 6 mo old. We were incredibly blessed to be eligible and find a donor, as a deceased donor liver may or may not have come in time. 1 out of 10 babies and 1 out of 20 kids waiting for a liver will die waiting. I know many kids and adults wait for YEARS for kidneys. Please - in honor of this young woman and the many people waiting for organs, consider registering to be a donor and make your wishes known to your family. 💚

@@JessRareNope, they clearly said “Samaria’s mother made the decision “. Also, in other media coverage of this story the dad said it was his wife’s idea, she pushed it, and he feels guilty”. Notice the mother’s first response was to say “she wouldn’t have been here in the first place if it wasn’t for him”. -Already rationalizing and excusing her decision to sacrifice her daughter. Keeping this man in her life, getting married to him after all these years was more important.

My heartfelt condolences to your family. I can’t even imagine what this feels like. My daughter passed away 9 yrs ago, and she saved three lives. I still cry… May God bless you. 🫶🏾
