Kaplan cycles you now who I talking of I think he would love to put it in his place
@jatiii22 сағат бұрын
Yes. New England Motorcycle Museum. Ken Kaplan. Kaplan America. You can have it on display there and still own it. Doesn't have to be a permanent fixture. And he loves CR500s maybe even more than you.

My favorite two dirt bike sounds are a big bore two stroke idling and a two stroke 125 screaming in the power band. It brings back such great memories.

I loved the video and the story about the bike. I know what it’s like to purchase a Holy Grail motorcycle. In 2007 I purchased a 1996 Suzuki RGV250 SP in Lucky Strike Livery. It is all original too. So glad to have your channel to watch and share the excitement of motorcycles and motorcycling. I have so many dirt bikes and street bikes I don’t have any more room for the 1983 RM 500 I want . Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you and your family. God bless🎄🙏🏼🇺🇸

You remember 70-80 the pros with signed contracts road factory rides. Didn't 4 manufacturers build factory privateer bikes weren't as top cabin as factory better than the production bike? If they did have ever got your hands on one.?

First, congratulations, that bike is beautiful. I agree, your it's steward, it should be preserved. Apart from that, what you should do with it, I'm not sure. Personally if it were me, I would just hold onto it forever, but then that is why my spaces tend to be so cluttered.

Start it here and there but if you paid money for it why donate it to sit and rot or for the museum to sell it if they needed the funds for something, seen big museums do it like Kaplan cycles, that’s just my opinion keep it and chairish the darn thing honestly…

Thank goodness you went with a public adjuster because your insurance company will stick you where the sun don't shine during the entire process. Facts, evidence, and pay close attention to language. Use social media to your advantage with them.
@RED-RYDA6 сағат бұрын
I would let RJ keep it in his dealership thats local to you. Then atleast you could go see it whenever you want and it still he in the public eye where it belongs as opposed to sending to a museum far from you.

Hey Clint!!! I was just thinking of you and the fam today, wondering how you were all doing! Greetings from japan. Hope you had a good Christmas, and New Years, and 2025 will be awesome for you all! - 2024 is almost over, time to move forward in health, happiness and with family. LOVE TRACK TALKERS!!! That CR500 is awesome! I would suggest just give it a really good clean. All the nicks, scratches, and scuffs with be there, but preserve what is still there. No need to powder coat, respray, rebuild it. Use modern products to make it shine and preserve it as it is. The nicks and scratches are part of the history of that bike. You should keep ownership, but perhaps find a place that will display it proudly, and keep the dust off it. Run it/kick start every so often.
