The weapon level requirement isn't the item level. To see the item level, hold alt while hovering over the item.

I was reading another thread on steam about how this game lacks rarity found in other games (legendary, pearlescent, etcs). and i agree that the game doesn't need those rarities, because crafting the perfect gear is the name of the game, but i wish there was a way to determine how well a stat is that was rolled. like if your light radius was the best modifier value it could have, that should be easily noted. otherwise, i only have my current gear to compare things to and i'm just not that invested in the game to figure that stuff out.

If you hold down Alt while Hovering over an Item you will See what Tier all the Prefixes and Suffixes are. Most stats can go up to T8 some T11.

Problem im having is that vendors always sell garbage (currently lvl 72)... managed to maybe buy one or two items in my whole playthrough up till cruel A3... Vendors suck if you ask me... id rather farm for a white item and upgrade it myself. I did a few maps up till lvl 4 now buy I have not yet seen or found these artifact items you are referring to. I currently just buy good gear for like one orb on the marketplace because it saves me allot time... last night I did one simple map and it dropped 3ex for me so I'm not complaining.

⁠@@MasthaXwhen you do check vendors make sure to double check the required lvl. No point buying gear that is for lvl30 and your 60. You can also reforge the gear drops. Save those exalted orbs. Use them to trade with.

to initially place explosives you just need to be relatively close to the expedition npc in the map youre running otherwise the icon will be greyed out and you cant place them. i think the default keyboard shortcut to place explosives is V and you can press Shift+V to undo explosives placements if you want to redo your setup before starting the event. if the keyboard shortcut is different you can mouse of the expedition explosives icon that should be just to the left of your skill bar. you can also just manually click the explosives icon to place them and similarly you can click the undo placement arrow when they arent greyed out.

Random stash of items on NPC that you can randomize, then buy one and get random offers to do random things with the item. Get 3 of the same finished random items to randomize them into another random item. Yeah, that's not crafting.

It is an ever fluctuating market. The currency exchange in game shows you a lot of values. There are also trade macro’s but they are still in their infancy for PoE 2 and are not great yet.

if i had to guess youre mostly likely to start seeing expert item bases when youre lvl65+ as expert bases seem to have a lvl req range between 65-75 according to poe2db info. rerolling Rog on my lvl70 gave me 4 ilvl70 expert items. Rerolling Rog on my lvl83 character gave me 8 ilvl75 expert bases. being that most of the expert bases seem to be lvl70 req im guessing you arent gonna see many expert bases below that level since the mechanic seems to scale the item offers with your player level.

Good grief! I'd rather just have good gear drop & do some actual targeted crafting for a mod or two. This is just more long form gambling for gear & it takes time away from leveling. There's too much of that in the game. I want to bonk mobs, not sit at a screen getting disappointed by bad rolls.

Each item costs 2 exalted since coinage is 2 exalts per and the options are not always as good as shown, this is gambling with extra steps, one could buy items from people with 2-3 stats missing and do the same, this is great for SSF tho

Bro made a 450 evasion chest then says he "might" use it over his 2000+ evasion chest. This is what I don't get about all the junk rares I loot with 190% rarity that are nowhere close to the stats of the stuff on the trade site. ilvl60 is probably the default ilvl of gear the NPC offer when you first access them but if you reroll their item selections with an exotic coin it should offer you higher ilvl to better match your level. Testing it out on my lvl83 character I rerolled Rog and it offered ilvl75 items. lower ilvl means that you sometimes cant roll all the highest tier modifiers on an item but at ilvl60 you generally get within a few tiers of the highest rolls. outside of that at ilvl60 the item bases were all advanced compared to mostly expert I see at ilvl75. if youre curious you can check out poe2db modifiers section to see what the different mods and and tiers are that can roll on different item types.
