In 2024 when buying new golf clubs we are always looking for the best budget golf clubs, the best forgiving golf clubs, and even the best CHEAP forgiving golf clubs. But in a world where the best mid handicap golf clubs are generally by companies like Taylor made, Ping and Callaway what about if we try a golf club that is brand new but also mega cheap and I think the most forgiving golf club of 2024, and even better yet, potentially the best forgiving driver of 2024, best budget driver of 2024 and best high handicap driver of 2024!?

Don't care for the closed face but you can't beat that sound. My first real set of clubs were MacGregors. Nice to see them making a comeback. As a hobbyist I really love that they offer their irons as club heads so I can build my own set.

Budget doesn’t always have to mean cheap. Hopefully McGregor can continue offering quality clubs at a great price. I still use the Taylormade Superfast 2.0 3&5 woods cause they still work so good! I would definitely give these a try if given the chance.

MacGregor Golf is bouncing back in to the golf industry. The same company that owns them now, owns Ram Golf. Both companies actually have to lines of clubs. A budget minded club and an upper priced club. Both companies are even offering clubs as components. Give both companies a thorough look at all 5heir clubs. Ram has also brought back the Ram Zebra putter line up.

In 1964 I bought my 1st set of clubs which were our golf pros old set and they were MacGregor Tommy bolt signature irons. You're bringing back fond memories!

Thinking of the history of MacGregor clubs wonder if with little investment and marketing if they could be like the revitalised Wilson clubs... I recall in past that MacHregor had some major championship winners and think Jack Nicklaus played them...⛳️⛳️⛳️

As I understand it, the U.S. And U.K. Companies are separate entities, the U.S. version being owned by the guy who also bought Ram and maybe Ben Hogan (?). The U.S. company has some beautiful looking irons, both hollow bodied and forged.
