Man I love my e92. The interior was a bonus for me the black gloss trim and the brown heated seats was a bonus. 8 years of owning it still looks great for a 11 year old car.

I did that same in my BMW, changed the brushed silver trim for carbon fiber. I have a red interior too and the contrast with the carbon fiber is stunning! Only difference is, it cost me less than 150 quid since I skinned my original aluminium trims in carbon fiber myself. Took a bit of practise and a good few hours of work but the end result was well worth it. If you don't want to do it yourself you could probably find someone who will skin the trims for you and should still cost half of what it cost from BMW.

Removal/Install of the CF door handles was a little backwards. - To remove, start at the bottom, where there is a little notch to insert your pry tool. Reinsert the clips that stick to the old handle into the door panel. - To install, start at the top and insert the handle flush to the door panel (90deg). Then bend like a banana, to insert the bottom. Press in the remaining inner clips. Don't worry too much about gaps in the seam between the handle and CF trim.

Great video man. I’d just suggest adjusting your exposure a bit on the cam because I had to turn my brightness all the way up and still couldn’t see the interior that well. Other than that ur videos and ur car are on point!

When i tried to wrap my door handles carbon fiber, i took them out wrongly breaking both tabs... i couldnt stand the gap between my trim piece and door handle... so i went the hard way and ordered those trim pieces, indeed expensive asfffff... but i love them !

Yeah that's tough. The brown leather is more of a luxury look, but I've seen it done with carbon fiber accents and it's not too bad

Depending on the shade of brown interior you have you could get it skinned in copper colour carbon fiber. It would be quite unique.

I will mention I bought full carbon trim set (replacement, not layover) from darkfactorycarbonfiber on eBay for my f30, I offered $670, I see them posted for $800 currently. Not sponsored by them, I was just super happy with fit and finish. Awesome substitute for that OEM alcantara kit. Great install video as always

Surprised you have not yet swapped for the f80 console top with the merino leather knee bolster. It’s PNP and makes driving, especially long distance or aggressive cornering much more comfortable. I did that, the extended merino leather armrest and the anthracite LCI trims on my black Dakota PFE LCI f31.

Strongly recommend anyone with an F3X go with the F8X M3/M4 glossy carbon fiber interior trim. The colored accent stripe is black chrome!! Much nicer than the matte M performance carbon fiber/alcantara trim kit. Skip the CF door handles ($600 for a sedan). Also do the F8X M3/M4 glossy carbon fiber steering wheel trim...and the back cover. Ceramic Coat the glossy carbon fiber before the install.
