MalayalaM films are definitely best industry in Asia I would say, they are so underrated, glad now MalayalaM films started to getting limelight from wider audience. MalayalaM industries outré storyline and exquisite camera work spellbind performances all top notch. I never felt malayalees as other state people, they are always-all ways amiable amigos of Tamil people.

His core beliefs in exploiters vs exploited. Forging legal documents , using blackmail , murder and everything under the sun. The relentless hustle, Numerous other details. But they treated & modified it extremely well. It's not a carbon copy but heavily inspired .

The opening title scene itself is dope and daring. It goes like this "Nobody to thank" which is read out by Mukundan himself as his own character attribute. While the post credit scene has the director giving thanks to notable persons. The title card itself has brilliance written all over it. Also the Aspect ratio is also the characteristic of the character Mukundan. Such a brilliant piece of cinema ❤️🔥

I think the last dialogue between Meenakshi and Jyothi is the philosophy of the movie. The Law of Karma is just a belief-system that common people use to console themselves, to make sense of the world. Religion was invented for the lower-class and middle-class people so that they don't kill the rich. To control them so that they just follow the rules. Unni is doing all kinds of devious things, yet things always pan out in his favour. He never pays any price. The consequences are all random, there is no law. But Unni is weak, he is constantly thinking, he is afraid of getting caught. He is a psychopath, but still he has a conscience. In a way, this constant anxiety is his punishment. He believes that death is preferable to failure. And the first time things actually go wrong and he is about to be caught, he decides to commit suicide by poisoning the bus driver.

The voiceover part is what grabs the attention, that was what I found relatable too, the fact that our thoughts are being translated is a fantastic concept in itself and this film was in a way, a cathartic approach to that.

When you realise that the director of hridayam did a film like this. Such a freaking good movie and this is called dark comedy (Nelson bro for you),The characterisation, the background scoring and dialogues were spot on .Hotstar did a good job of subtitling here,Movie had great subtitle which made us to enjoy the nuances.I enjoyed each and every moment of the movie(starting from no animals were harmed)

I’ve been getting into Indian films lately and Malayalam movies are pure gold to me. This one was absolutely unhinged and I loved every freakin second of it 😂. I think Mukundan is my favorite type of villain. He’s completely self serving, devious, machiavellian and unapologetic about it. The character is unlikable, but somehow still very enjoyable. This movie is on my favorites list for sure.

Spot on review. Initially all his quirky comical behavior is hilarious… but then the shade turns grey to black. Even the opening shot of the earth and how they focus on Mukundan shows his God Complex who is not part of the world but the world is a part of him.
