I used to work for Norwegian Cruise lines as a nurse many years ago. All of the employees who live and stay on the key All were certified in CPR and water rescue. Norwegian Cruise lines used to post One of the nurses on the key when passengers were there but basically it was just a sun day for us because the key staff took care of everything and only called us if they needed a license professional a serious injury. Also at least it used to be, all nurses and doctors on the Norwegian Cruise lines must be advanced CPR certified, and have emergency room or critical care experience. The other thing I like about Norwegian Cruise lines is that Norwegian sailors take their job very seriously. If there was ever an emergency on a Norwegian cruise ship I have no doubt that the crew is fully trained and knows what the hell they're doing. I haven't worked for them for many years but I would hope that that tradition continues.

Hey Tony, I have learned to never wear cotton in a hot or humid climate. I turn into a dripping sponge. I now wear those newfangled nylon stay dry shirts. They are amazing AND they can be washed in your stateroom sink and will hang dry overnight! They will dry in under 1 hour if draped over a chair on your veranda. I now have pants with zip off legs that have the same amazing properties. Makes carry on ONLY travel a breeze.

Over the years, on multiple ships, we have been on them all. Our favorite port is now the one where most the most people get off the ship. That leaves the buffet, the adult pool, the sun decks, the various tastings to a just a few hundred people to enjoy.

The section that you just let the video run with the sound of the ship and water while you tendered away just sent me into a deep breathe and relax mode. I miss being on a cruise ship. Worst part, I don't even have another on the books yet! I wish I could go more than every two years (which seems to be our average).

Seems to have a similar vibe to Half Moon Cay (HAL/Carnival) - AKA "Little San Salvador island" - only more developed. The focus is on the beach and excursions instead of "amusement park" attractions. We've loved every stop we've made at Half Moon Cay!

The key (cay?) is way more advanced than when I used to work for NCL back in the '90s. You used to just be a beautiful beach, a buffet, a grass Cabana with an awesome Caribbean band. I haven't cruised NCL as a passenger yet but boy this video is really making me want to do it.

I think that circular structure in front of the tequila bar is a spot to take photos (you sit on the little bench, and you can see the ocean behind your heads, with a circular frame made out of the branches).

It sure has changed over the years. When we went many years ago, they had grills. Beach barbecue vibe. You could explore the island. Just sandy pathways. We explored the island and it was wonderful. Sometimes I think less is more. The tenders only held about 25 people. They had snorkel and float rentals. I’m glad we experienced the early days of the private island.

I chuckled a bit when reading that sign that says children must be supervised at all times because I watched the most recent video of people who should be banned and then I laughed again when he said It's a message that a lot of people need on this cruise. I'm thinking to all the islands I've been to and I don't ever remember a first aid station being there. (I'm sure they are on all the islands but I just don't remember seeing them.) I love me some patron however, not in the summertime and not in a hot place!! Patron heats you up it will not under any circumstances cool you off! Whenever I go to the Caribbean no matter what island it is I have to get at least one banana daiquiri! Rice Krispies looked interesting and that banana bread needs to be piled high on my plate!!!🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤 Looked like flatbread pizza and if that's flatbread cheese pizza you could pile a bunch of that on my plate as well! 🤣🤣🤣 Restaurants open from 11:30 to 1400 My mom would be so confused as to what time it closes! 🤣🤣🤣 Yes sir this is the Bacardi bar but no sir We do not serve any rum whatsoever😐 I'm not quite sure that they're ziplining from the lighthouse straight down but you might walk back and drop your stuff off or something I don't know.?

The artifact turned out to be cursed . His his brother was bitten by a tarantula and his other brother almost drown surfing. Bob spent the rest to the trip trying to return the artifact to the ancient burial spot.

I typically do not disembark on the cruise ship Bahams, Bimini, and Houndouras private islands as the tourist $$$ traps with street food (food truck) and abosulutely no emersion with the island culture. Where youu are left to burn up in the sun. Not to mention it is hurrican season. I purchase the FAS+. I order what ever I want without a discussion. Ulimited WiFi, 4 specialty dining, $50.00 of shore excursion for two. What as was your best experience on the private island? I fake shopping is the only way to go!

There is a real light house, as well as the remnants of the light house settlement, on Great Stirrup, I was last at the settlement in the early 1980s. I know the light house is still there, but NCL has not been allowed to lease that area. You can see the real light house front Little Stirrup and from the ship on the way to Bertram Cove. My first time to Great Stirrup was before the NCL lease. In 1979, we saw the first beach chairs show up. The light house you can see is for the zipline. I did see the light house when I went on the kayak excursion from a part of the NCL leased area that you didn't see.
