Wow, coming from a typical Indian village and growing up in there, I see so many similarities here and in my hometown. In fact we had exactly same kind of toilets. In fact till I was 10 years old, we did not even had toilets. Left hometown at 16 for higher studies and now at 37 settled in a major-city, I terribly miss the village life. There was a slowness and tranquility that was present there. And being a kid, it was a worry-free time.

I'm mentally riding alongside you, seeing all the wonders you see, hiking into forests and jungles that--due to my 71 years and small income--I will never get to experience. I know that I'm not alone in sharing this feeling. I just want to thank you for opening the world to those like me and everyone else, for approaching each new day with a positive attitude and a generous smile, even when the going gets rough. Wow, what a beautiful country and people. That was crazy how many trucks were crashed and broken down. I loved their traditional round houses and cooking areas. Thanks Noraly. Stay safe on those roads.

Those traditional houses are beautiful and fascinating! I’ve never seen anything like it. As someone else said, they do look like little castles. 🏰 Thank you for another immensely interesting video. The view from the overlook was just amazing! Be safe!

Very Interesting tour, Noraly. The similarity of the house construction in Togo and Benin is not surprising. A regional norm before the 'modern' nations were established. Also, not surprising to see so many truck accidents and breakdowns with the way they overload the cargo. Your fantastic drone views brings to mind just how much of the wonders of nature we ground-based creatures do not get to see. Be Well Safe Travels 🙏❤🏍🤠

All those accidents demonstrates the crazy dangerous travelling you experienced today. Getting run off the road at oeast three times is nerve racking. It is amazing how you maintained a powerfully positive attitude.

Yes Noraly, those were beans. But a different specie called locust beans. A very delicious delicacy common to Africa. Its powder can be a proteinous pap and the seeds when fermented can be a great food seasoning agent. Awesome 😊

The beans you saw are known as locust beans. It is boiled in high temperature for some eight hours to make it possible to remove the seed's hard shells. The seeds undergo yet further processing including fermentation and are ultimately used for soup seasoning.

I am not a very high-tech person and don't spend much time watching stuff. I don't even use/own a smartphone. But I found out this and I am watching it all. I am still in series 1 episode 44 (Oman, that I will maybe visit this coming Xmas). You are an inspiration. You have already helped me to remain calmer and positive in face of adversity. Thank you for that, really.

Started following you about a month ago. You are amazing....such inner strength and Courage. Watching your journey makes me see this country, and the people differently. The people seem, what the world would Define as poverty-stricken.... But yet they seem at peace, content.... As they enjoy their days. Do some work, help when they can. It makes me think, AMERICA IS DRIVEN MORE BY MATERIALISM, FAST PACED, ENVY AND GREED. THAT AMERICA HAS MISSED OR LOST SOMETHING IMPORTANT.... SIMPLICITY, SMILING, KINDNESS, SLOWING DOWN..... CARING FOR OTHERS AROUND THEM.... THANKS FOR SHARING
