The reason it sounds like that, is because it's mask is sewn into its face, rather screwed in to place, it's screaming in gutteral pain, dark souls style. The creature was captured by the dark hyrulian kingdom, whipped to serve the aristocracy. Along with its kin, truly truly dark.
