As someone who has a great bond with dad, it’s always nice to see other kiddos and dads being affectionate to each other. It is such a blessing to have great parents, really gives you a full support system and confidence in life and I hope more kids in this world feel that security. People who abuse their kids need to go.

snakebekj jsjajaja my bio dad abandoned my mom, older brother and me when I was really young. I have a step dad who’s a jerk he’s never told me he loves me. And since a young age I was forced into calling him “dad”. He’s never even referred to me as his daughter. Some people have actual problems that makes them emotional to stuff like this. Sometimes all a person needs to be told by a father figure is that she’s lived. So yeah, call me sensitive all you want. If that’s what I’m being, I don’t care. I’ll be “emotional” because a simple “I love you” is all I’ve ever wanted.

Makayla T ofc of all people, i just so happen to end up making a comment on a person with a sad story. now i feel guilty af.. i’m truly sorry if i offended you with my ignorant comment. also, i can kind of relate to you about not having a loving father. my bio dad got locked up shortly after i was born, i think it was a couple months after actually. (he ended up getting like 16 years in prison for a bad dui accident). following that my mom got married but unfortunately it was a very abusive relationship and i have scars both physically and emotionally that can never go away.. so i ended up having my real father in prison and never got to see him, to being physically harmed/abused as a young child by my “step dad” so i know how it feels to not have a true loving father. Luckily all those dark times are past me but non the less they’re still apart of my past and who i am. i know u could probably care less about me telling some of my life story lol but i just felt really bad and wanted to let u know that i can relate. ❤️

In Indian culture, most of the time you get you stay with your kids. People like to have at least one daughter and one son because the daughter is going to get married and go to live in her in-laws house with her husband and the son will get married and his wife will live in your house. So when you get old you will not have to do any work at all because son's wife will do all the work unless your son lives separately or sends you to an old age home which is very disrespectful and sad..

This A+ of a father cares, he's on board, loves his daughter so much & her opinion & feedback is important to him. Believe it or not, this is rare. Wouldn't it be nice if every parent was this involved and concerned? It really makes a difference how the teen "moves forward" in life. Their growth, self worth & confidence depends on us, the parent. The circle of life.
