About the NPC Invasions 10:00 Ive been an early private tester & in direct contact with the developers of Archthrones. The reason the invasion isnt happening is because theres 2 ways: 1. You must join the way of the blue covenant (the covenant near the tree next to the first bonfire of War Torn Village) if you join that youll get invaded in pheonix tower and the blue NPC comes to assist you. 2. The other option is to go to jessa/florian's world and help THEM, you gotta go help them in their world as a summon via the summon sign on the floor. (Also you dont need to be embered) Cant wait to see you on the Elden Ring DLC grind with me soon! Cheers 🥂

The florian invasion is at the circular room with the titanite lizard and the 3 phoenix knights, the jessa invasion is in the room with the painted guardians that actually leads somewhere!

Yeah theres also an alternative way where you could do florians invasion in the room with the 3 knights. The sign is hidden under chairs. You then speak to him back at quella’s room then he says theres another invasion in the room to the right of quella’s bonfire to complete jessas invasion which then makes them both spawn there for their bossfight

Jev I dont know If you tried, but in DS the invasions usually start only if you have popped an ember. Then they might spawn, but it could also just be broken.

Yes that’s how it works, same thing in DS1 when you reverse hollowing that’s the only way to invade/get invaded

you don't need to be embered in this mod. he missed the summon signs on the floor, there's one in the room with the painting guardians to the left of the bonfire in the room with the tree woman, and one down from the drawbridge, in the circular room overlooking the flaming tower that had the titanite lizard and the 3 phoenix knights.

@@cactustrails5268 there's only 2 bone shards in the demo as far as I'm aware, could be wrong and there might be three, but that's it. also only 7 estus flask charges, again maybe 8 and I missed one. I suppose you could also count the alchemist's flask which is just a physick from Elden Ring, but that doesn't really get you HP, unless you brew it to do so.

Jev you might have to be embered up/pop a humanity in order for the invasion to work. That's how it works in DS3 vanilla at least.

The first invasion happens in the room with the three big dudes, it is on the floor (might help if you kill the three big dude first and then look for the sign on the floor). The second invasion is near the bonefire where the floating lady is. Starting from the bonefire go the opposite direction from the floating npc and then first room to the right, the summon sign in on the floor.

kinda made me mald bc it was the hardest boss next to the final boss for me, I don't use colossal weapons bc I fucked my character stats and titanite up, so every boss is an actual challenge. it's actually wild how easy the collosal weapons make the mod's hardest bosses

I get running the heavy weapons, I personally love great axes and use them, but from the looks of that phoenix boss might need to switch armor or tactic weapon as the one you currently use drains your stamina easily there's gotta be better options somewhere that you have missed, and bone shards especially lol running on +1 estus is tough

the final boss, if you don't cheese it by breaking the boss with a summon, is the hardest soulslike boss I've ever played against. though, I'm not using colossal weapons, which I can tell by jev's videos makes the bosses MARGINALLY easier.

Jev, there are summon signs on the ground that allow you to invade into the NPC worlds. You do not need to be embered to do this, you walked past one of them multiple times in the round room with the 3 knights it was glowing on the ground by one of the sides. Once you invade and assist the two NPCs both return to the alter to progress to the boss fight.

so idk if its the same moveset but its a reskin of sanctuary guardian from ds1. if the moveset is copypasted then what you need to do is bait it into doing a slam wave attack. this leaves it staggered for a while and it's the only time you can attack unpunished.

I think the invasion didn't happen because in DS3 vanilla you could only become invaded by NPCs/other players if you had your ember activated. Not sure if the mod follows the same rule but could be worth a shot.

I was a long time multiplayer gamer (cod, OW2, hunt showdown, and sadly league of legends) and i'm looking to move backwards from the shooters and competitive games. I was actually wondering, what your opinion is with starting some Soulslike games and which game would you recommend as my first Soulslike experience. I own Elden Ring already and do not own any of the others. I would be willing to get them with your recommendation but what would you recommend as my first one?
