I made this mistake when I played the game for my first time earlier this year. Ludwig, Maria, living failures and Laurence actually weren't that bad for me but holy fuck, Orphan of Kos put me through the wringer and fucked me up for HOURS until I finally got the fight down and I loved every second of it.

I did it new game plus it wasn't that difficult. The only one that was so difficult is Ludwig took me over 30 tries but other than that Lady Marie took me 3 tries Kos only 1 try and Lawrence 7 tries

@@zachhouston514lmao right? like he’s missed hemwick, the hospital place that links back to the start of the game, forget what it’s called, which therefore means he can’t go to cainhurst, he’s also missed upper cathedral ward, and the area below that you need to drop down the scaffolding in the tower, the alternate version of yaharguul with darkbeast paarl, the hunters workshop in the real world, ran straight through the school place that has the 2 different warps, one to micolaash, one to amygdala. and I THINK that’s all. COULD be still be missing something. but that’s like half the game atp 😭😭 edit cuz I totally forgot the one hidden area before wet nurse where there’s a ton of winter lantern guys guarding the bloodrock I know some of these are “hidden” but I found them ALL on a first blind playthrough. so theres really no excuse. and I can also guarantee he’s not gonna find out about dropping that crazy looking giant eyeball amalgamation down into the void. not really a boss at all, but it’s cool, and there’s a cutscene. cutscenes don’t come often in these games.

Before you fight the final boss, there’s an optional final boss you can do if you find the three umbilical cords. If you find and consume them you can get the true ending and fight the moon presence.

Before you continue, I would recommend taking the paths to the sides of the Vicar Amelia arena. Beyond those paths there are several boss fights, areas, and an entire game mechanic that you haven't found yet (which will help you become more powerful).

Jev, you gotta remember that some bosses are much easier if you parry. Not to mention, if he kept catching you with his tentacle attack, switch your weapon to the plain sword; it swings faster and you can get in and out of trouble faster

Maybe a better idea since you’re under-levelled: go fight all the optional bosses for extra blood-echoes (most are cool unique fights) and get the Caryll Rune workshop tool, that’s how you access the talismans/rings of this game, some runes can be game changers. Good luck hunting!

Hey Jev, there's a secret area that can be accessed from the elevator you rode at 12:28 in the video. It's kind of hard but if you jump into the window as you're riding down you'll get access to a secret area. There, you can get access to a few more areas if I remember correctly and some nice items. However, I will say, the enemies are rather... uniquely difficult.

You have additional moves if you press L2 when using 2 handed weapons like the one you are using. Surprised no one told you it thus far. They are really useful and kind of a halfway between strong and light attacks

The dlc takes roughly about 4 hours if you dont get stuck on a boss. Also MAKE SURE you upload ur data if you haven't cause if ur save gets corrupted you'll lose everything

Okay Jev, if you want to use Bloodborne's equivalent to rings do the optional boss in Hemwick Charnel Lane before you beat the game. To find the area, go to the right after teleporting to The Grand Cathedral lamp. After beating that boss, you will get the *Rune* *Workshop* *Tool* Go to the Hunter's dream, when facing the workbench, it's to your left. It looks like a desk with candles but is called the Memory Altar. At the altar you can equip 3-4 runes. (3 regular runes and 1 special rune that is blue and usually drawn in blood) Each rune gives you different effects, some are a little helpful, some are really helpful, and others are practically game changing. You already have some runes that you can use, and you can unlock more as you play the game.

I recommend looking into the chalice dungeon mechanic for easy echo farming. Its a little cheesy, but it can save a lot of time and tedium, helped a lot when i used to do new characters for pvp builds etc.

I'm not sure if you know yet but if you get hit while rolling or running you take double damage, which is one of the reasons it looks like things do way more damage than they should. I believe its to punish panick rolling, also you should almost always dodge towards attacks as to avoid getting clip by it at the end

Hey jev love the series, but you should definitley go around and get all the umbilical cords, youll get one on the second last boss, another in a hidden area, and another from killing an npc. Theres one you wont be able to get from an npc youd bring to cathedral ward. But thats okay bc you only need 3. With those 3 you can get the true ending of the game.
