When certain events occur, your view on life changes drastically. It honestly depends on the situation you were in. You can either learn from it, change, and become different...or you don't learn a damn thing and pretty much stay the same. I am extremely grateful for being able to come this far. I still have long ways to go and so much to learn. Despite being almost 6 years and counting, it still haunts me to this day. PTSD is real and I am still seeking help. Sought after some true guidance.
Do yourself a favor. Listen carefully. For those of you who drink and drive often, you might not be intoxicated but your judgment, and vision is partially impaired. No matter what you do, save yourself. Most importantly, keep the people around you safe. Become the change, don't be a statistic.

Thanks for sharing, Dan! I definitely agree with you. With Uber and Lyft, even calling a friend, family member or a taxi, there’s no excuse for driving while intoxicated.
