I’ve run into this deck a bit lately but without the darkness stuff just Nasus and vaults, it seems so strong I’ve lost to it 3 times and of course with my luck it’s cause in all 3 they had turn two sleepy rock bear into vaults on 4 and I just get stomped by Nasus and castigate in the same turn, idk how consistent the deck is cause as I said I kept fighting god hands but I imagine without vaults it isn’t as good.

Vault decks are absolutely garbage to play imo. The thing they do is strong, but you cant really tolerate any changes to your gameplan, since its not flexible, and unlike a Karma or Varus, your gameplan isnt a 1 turn ending point, but a multiple turn sequence

I absolutely loved nasus zilean vaults, played it in standard for a bit and it's decent, but having the darkness stuff is awesome, ill have to give it a try

Game 6 really proves why you cant write Ionia without a reverse NO in it, watching paint dry is more interactive than any Ionia deck

6:10 I think you were actually supposed to kill rekindler there. That way mist call guarantees a Nasus, through either Nasus himself, or the rekindler giving you another Nasus.

Another awesome deck. If u ever get the chance, could u ask if Riot has any plans for Yi. He is the only champ no one is playing or mentioning, and I love his incremental playstyle.

@E2Victor that's true for every champ. And there are way better champs to match with samira. But that is kinda the issue. No matter what Yi deck u make, it will always be better if u replace him with a different one.

ekko is my favorite league champ , and I could not agree more , after you level ekko predict makes sense but before leveling ekko i feel like why am i playing these cards? and also keeping me in place to play only shurima with ekko which i personally dont like

I feel the problem is that Ekko gains a very powerful spell when he levels and also his stats are very mediocre for four mana(the on hit effect is very bad) that's force to people play him in a deck that needs cheep predicts to make him go to lvl2 quick as possible

@@anrandomlenna yes but lets say you get ekko on muligan do u keep him ? not really you play 1 mana predict , you find ekko do you even get it ? thats where my problem is until he levels you are doing random things

@@xarmarpapoutsis6294 on Ekko jinx yeah I can totally see this problem, but on others decks (like the one with secret keeper with the 5 mana that grows they stats for every time you see them in a prediction) you kinda have what to get in the predicts,like I can totally see your point it just that I don't think that's the problem (the problem in my point is that he has such a strong level up in comparison to his base level that sucks for playing for value,in others words the chrono break is the problem of the design)

@@anrandomlenna i think they just need actual support , like lurk it seems like there is only one way to play that and thats not nice imo , and introducing a meme card (secret keeper) is ok but we actually need cards that can help the predict archetype , ekko is not even needed in the voice deck , u just go full aggro

Idk I think your opinion of Ekko kinda reflects your opinion of aggro. It seems like you think aggro is skill-less, but honest aggro plays finer margins on their lines than control in most matchups. Playing Jinx is like playing UNO, you need to clear your hand, and playing ekkp lets you decide what your uno hands going to be. Which means to pick the right card you have to know what the board state is going to be like on the next turn, what threats opp will drop and what answers he will have access to.

absolutely the opposite. I have always been in favor of aggro and I enjoy the back and forth against aggro decks. Jinx and Ekko are boring examples of Aggro because it feels to me entire mechanics are wasted when both characters could have been so much more.

I love Ekko Jinx. I think I can offer some perspective because I'm actually the dude who built it originally and popularized it and piloted it to top 10 on the leaderboard. But I honestly don't consider it an aggro deck, and I believe that people who play it as an aggro deck are doing it wrong. I look at it as more of a combo deck. The reason I say that is because when played optimally, you don't want to trade units for free early on the way aggro decks will. Keeping units alive for big Chronobreak and Voice of the Risen turns is very important. Also, your point about "Predicting for the sake of Predicting" doesn't really land for me, because once you've got your 4 Predicts (pretty easy thing to do) then your Predicts begin looking for combo pieces like Chronobreaks, Jinx, and Voice of the Risen. So it's not like you're spinning your wheels with your Predicts, you're trying to find the pieces of your combo. idk, I just love the deck. I think it's very fun and skillful and fair and does both of the champs a lot of justice. Also, if you want something more memey I have had some good success with including a few copies of Secret Keeper in my Ekko Jinx deck and getting some insane highrolls. Once I got a l leveled Karma on turn 5 from a Secret Keeper highroll. Obviously it's not as good but it can be really funny sometimes.
