This deck absolutely destroyed the day one Festival of Legends ladder for me. It just tosses all the new Divine Shield Paladin cards into a Pure Paladin shell, and it works stupidly well!

I've been playing pure aggro paladin since yesterday and I'm absolutely CRUSHING ladder (went from bronze 10 to platinum 1) and am something like 30/3. FYI - I haven't played standard in about 4 years and my collection is basically trash... I did spend about 3k dust to make the countess and some cards and (bought about 40 packs from saved gold) and have no issue wrecking.

I’ve actually been having a lot of success with hero power Druid. Just gaining 8+ armor/attack every turn seems to overwhelm most decks in the mid to late game.

Yeah I just hit legend with that so easily. Although I actually cut Funkfin and a lot of the menagerie stuff for better midrange cards. (Liadrin, Boogie Down, The Leviathan, For Quel’Thalas, Hand of A’dal, Class Action Lawyer, etc.)

I currently have a 90% win rate with a mech/divine shield paladin deck that I made. I finally got the achievement for 12 wins in a row! Only losses was a priest with what seemed like unlimited AoEs and borax clears and of course a death knight.

Hyper nitpicky: 30:20 -> Could've played the Sinful Sous Chef to get an extra body on board, then both Lightray's would be free. However it totally didn't matter and the Hunter got steamrolled anyway. Anyways, fantastic videos as always, fun to see what's going on Standard Side.

The only reason that I can think of is that adding more text would break the 4-line rule for card text. I still think they should find a way to specify how it works regarding 0-mana spells.

I think it was medivh's staff - whenever you cast a spell it would summon a random minion of the same cost and lose durability (it was a 1/3). Technically not a collectible weapon though, as it was equipped as a battlecry from medivh himself. That was way back in one night in karazhan so almost 7 full years ago now.

I don't get how these decks don't have 70%+ win rates on HSreplay. Are the people that play these decks religiously that bad at the game? Every time Regis plays them he pretty much constantly wins. I made an face hunter, got to legend day 1 and am still climbing with 80% win rate. Getting boring now though. This game is so tilted in favor of aggro it's ridiculous, and I feel like the only reason the stats don't show otherwise is because the people that play them are just casually playing on their phone whilst watching a TV show so they don't play them efficiently, and aggro is all about being efficient and making every damage count. But we can't have 40 HP Renathal for more than a few months...

I’d say it depends on how much of the last years collection you have. If you already have a lot of the standard collection, there’s no reason to dust. If ur far behind on collection then maybe you should consider it

Disenchant them whenever you need dust for any Standart card that's beer case scenario a festival card

I personally keep everything even though I very rarely dip my toes in Wild but that's the sole caveat: will you ever want to play wild? If not you probably have no reason to keep old cards unless you're a hoarder like me.

Paladin always needs to be strong. It is for the noobs who just know how to drag and drop cards on board & count to 5 mana. Without paladin/hunter the noobs would be lost in a forest. Pure has always been so boring to play but I always get rocked 😂
