I was playing a similar version of this in standard and went second with 2x lightning bloom, eysor, and totemic reflection in my starting hand. First turn 2x buffed eysor... it was the mulligan of mulligans. I love eysor totem

23:32 I slightly disagree that the totem choice didn't matter. They coined out a 2-drop. that means they probably had another 2 mana play in hand. The idiot totem in that case would have either made them not trade, forced a hero power instead of the plan they had, or dealt 1 damage to their minion, all of which are preferable to just them trading into any of the other 0/2s

I've played it a fair bit before this expansion dropped, had a fair bit of fun. If you've got the cards certainly worth giving a go.

Shaman definitely has the least powerful Odd hero power. But what if lacks in pure stats, it makes it up with consistency. No other class has access to a "free" taunt minion every turn, or on demand spell damage. Although I always had a dream idea that Odd Shaman would just combine every totem together into a super totem. 1/2 taunt, +1 Spell damage, heal all friendly minions by 1 at end of turn. Although that might be too strong.

Shaman actually did it first with the classic doomhammer + rockbiter weapon + rockbiter weapon for 16 face smack damage. That's probably why the achievement "deal 15 damage in one turn with your hero" is considered a shaman achievement.

With a good draw totem shaman is absurd and can literally have insane board states on like turn 4-5, the issue is that it need the nut draw or You run out of steam just as fast
