Played the vampire with tons of sacrifice fodder and my opponent has to big boys and no hand. There very next draw removal 🙄

I honestly think the Gourmand is a huge bait in sac decks, the effect is almost inconsequential and unless you also have Alesha to return the sacced creature is almost a liability. Even with Infernal Vessels you're just depriving yourself of a blocker and enabling your opponents removal on the "upgraded" creature to deal a meager 2 unblockable damage... On top of that since the trigger is upon attack declaration, you can'y even fully benefit from Involuntary Employment turning it into just a 4cmc removal (still strong, mind you, but less than damage + removal). The Ghoul and Eaten Alive are the real staples of the sac deck IMHO.

I think rakdos really wants to be aggresive here. The gourmands can help you grind somewhat, but its hard to beat the longer stamina decks unless you draw your 5 drop rare.

What a beautifully synergistic deck! A pleasure to watch it click, pity for the flood. Perhaps cards like Macabre Waltz and Thrill of Possibility are decently high picks in this format, as many games go to topdeck.
