Hey Bryant, love your content as always. What do you think about Breath Weapon rather than Moment's Peace against aggro? Also, I was wondering about Turn Aside, which is surely a narrow card, but has the big advantage of being a 1 mana hard counter vs the likes of Raze and Thermokarst.

Breath Weapon and Moment's Peace are for different kinds of aggro MUs. I built my sideboard wrong and that's on me, my current list is updated on Moxfield. Turn Aside is soooooo narrow.

Ever given thoughts about a playset Blighted agents in the sideboard? I feel that the deck misses early game ~2 drops. Also a playset Ponder mainboard wouldnt hurt for less V insights and S progress. Was a bummer to see these Insights ~clog up some games, I think they are 2 slow most of the time. Thanks for the nice video as always!

I know it's been a talking point before, but Prologue to Phyresis as maybe a 2 of just to get the ball rolling? Seems like in those faster match ups, having to pay 3 just to get the opponent that 1st poison counter is a big hurdle.

It's an option but pretty unnecessary IMO, the deck isn't about poisoning them fast. It's about developing your mana quickly and Prologue to Phyresis doesn't help that.

Absolutely love the deck run it in paper and mtgo. I always struggled with why inquiry is better than phyresis though. The instant speed no life loss and cheaper mana cost seems to offset the one less card drawn?

Less mana and instant speed to serve the purpose of getting your win condition online sounds great to me.

That's fair. In this meta I've also wondered if mind spiral is equally as good or better than lórien revealed. Same mana cost, easier on the mana without the double blue. Same card draw AND potentially tapping down a threat

at 24 minutes in you question if its worth it to play everflowing chalice. I would argue it is worth it to play it at 2 mana since with 1 proliferate effect you get the mana back and with each other proliferate effect you make extra mana.

I play a list that’s similar but you could also consider hidden strings as it can untap chalice I guess you don’t get to bounce the creature though so just what you value more at that point

The choke point is typically blue mana which is why we value Snap. On top of that, slowing the opponent down.

⁠@@TheEPICStormyeah always need more blue I guess the point I was trying to make in some situation it’s nice to be able to untap a chalice that on like 4 or 5 and a scurry versus a scurry and peat bog, but the downside is you don’t get the bounce so I’d agree with you there. Also it’s can untap arrows and things like that which can be some neat interactions. But 100% agree the bounce is nice and the blue is needed another losing point though is you lose instant speed.
